Today I'm working at my home office wearing my black skirt suit with nice makeup, jewelry and heels. My nails are done and not a hair is out of place. I'm loving the way I look and feel.

I really like being all dressed up as a woman and really dislike being dressed up as a man. I only own one men's suit and have only worn it twice in the last several years to a funeral and class reunion. I have several women's skirt suits and wear them quite often.

I'm not really a slob as a male, actually quite the opposite. I just don't like men's dress clothes.

I do dress casually and comfortably as a woman at times, but being dressed up is so much more satisfying.

Can anyone relate?

Nope, as a male I dress in boardshorts and holed t-shirt. As a female the holed t-shirt is fishnet and the boardies are "pedal pushers". Don't you just hate terms.

I can relate to the dress up part! The only trouble I have is when I'm working on a car and laying on the dirty floor and I get grease on my dress or someone is trying to look up my skirt! GIRL! I hate that

Totally! I wear men's clothing as an obligation. Whether I'm working, as today (black skirt and sweater, stockings, heels, make up and jewelry) or casual, I'm dressed en femme. I strongly prefer the former - even when my wife and I are just having dinner alone.

I can partially relate. I, however, am equally comfortable in my male and female clothes. I like my male suits and dress up clothes as well as my tried and true regular guy stuff. Then when I dress up en femme, I enjoy trying to have that almost perfect look. Once out of the house, my worrying and fretting about my look is all done. I only worry about my lipstick being fresh, my hair in place and that my skirt is not tucked up into my undergarments, nor do I have a piece of toilet paper trailing behind me as I exit the Lady's room!

I don't like wearing men's dress clothes at all! Way too uncomfortable especially when you have to tuck your shirt in!
I find women's suits much more comfortable and the good thing is if you have a blouse on with them, you don't have to tuck it in and the fabric is much lighter and comfortable.

Men's dress clothes are horribly borring. They are truly shapeless, and pretty much the same as any other man's clothes. I love feminine dress clothes, they are different for the most part, do not hide the build of the wearer for the most part, and are fun to wear.

There's a very good reason that we refer to male clothing as "drab". The whole purpose of male dress clothing is to provide a neutral backdrop for the beautiful clothing the women get to wear.

Eh. Growing up, we always had to dress up for church... which meant dress clothes, ties, etc. I'm not sure which I hated more, the dressing up or the church. Either way, it seems to have left a rather indelible mark on me, and I still can't stand either to this day. I own one suit, which I've worn maybe twice in 8 years. I'd get rid of it, but ya never know.

I did buy a woman's skirt suit recently, but haven't worn it yet. Wanted to try that "sexy librarian" look. :)

There are guy clothes I'm rather fond of... carpenter jeans, hiking boots, Utilikilts, BDUs, anything Carhartt... but don't come near me with a necktie. :O

I'm looking very forward to the day when I can BURN all my mens clothing!

No wonder male clothes are at the back of the fashion catalogue - they're actually very bland. And just walking around the University of Otago campus - the guys look like they've just got out of bed, while the girls are impeccably dressed.

If fact, the only time I haven't seen girls impeccably dressed at uni is in the laboratories - cold weather, health and safety regulations (hair back, lab coat, safety glasses, closed-in shoes), and a blanket ban on nylon tights means the girls look like like the guys, but still, they are better dressed.

(The images they showed us in the safety briefing of a leg of a girl who accidentally spilled strong sulphuric acid on her nylons has scarred many students for life. Melted nylon and extensive third-degree burns are not pretty!)

Sure can, Samantha! I dress in baggy jeans and colored t shirts as a male and find it UNCOMFORTABLE as hell. I slip into a skirt or nice fiting girl jeans with sensible heels and a comfy top, and I'm in heaven. The clothing materials and cut is just more comfortable for me, and I just feel better in them.

Since I am a man who sells Insurance, I do wear suits and ties quite often. But I don't really mind. I do like to dress up, and don't care whether it is in drab or female clothes! But I will admit that I am more comfortable in female clothing, which is the reason that I crossdress!!

Male clothing is because I have to, wife sees that I have something decent to wear, I don't remember the last time I bought anything male. Female is for fun and feeling good about myself, so I find myself shopping for womens clothing all the time. I got rid of my last suit, last year, it hadn't fit me in years anyway.
