I have to tell you girls what happened yesterday. I was at work and needed to use the ladiesroom. I was wearing jeans and a blouse. Very light makeup and hair was brushed back. Yes I am accepted full time at work and normally I don't dress that way. The two bathrooms are of course next to each other. I arrived at the bathroom started to open the door when a voice said excuse me miss (a woman said) you are going into the wrong room. I looked up and saw it was the mens room. I of course moved to the ladiesroom and went inside. After using the facilities I looked in the mirror. I had thought I still had a masculine look when not in a skirt or dress. Obviously I was wrong because when the woman who also was in the room came over to the mirror she said to me. That would have been embaressing going in the mensroom she laughed. Yes I replied it would have. I didn't know this woman never saw her before. However it was the nicest feeling I have had in a long time. Today I am back in my a suit (skirt and matching blouse, jacket, heels etc).

Been there and done that at least once. What was even more interesting is after SRS perhaps three times in the last few years (typically when I am not very awake) I have stood at the toilet ready to pee like a boy and then realized it was not going to work like that.

Had something a bit similar happen the first day I went out as myself shopping with my housemate.
We were in a Fred Meyer(dept/grocery) store. I suddenly had to go and since when I had asked my local police dept what the legal standing
was on transgenders using the ladies room( he said get your ID flagged female no prob, as then you cannot be accused of being a perv) I went into the mens room.
It was practically empty and the only guy in there kinda looked and shrugged his shoulders, no big deal.
When i came out the fun began as a security officer was coming out of a back room and stopped me" Follow me Miss" pulling me off into te empty employee lounge.
OFFICER :"Miss why may I ask where you in the Mens room? You have no business being in there."
Me: "I need to explain something.. umm I'm legally required to use that bathroom."
OFFICER : " What do you mean?"
Me blushing and nervous :"Legally, well...I'm still Male".
OFFICER blushing and looking me over : "Really? Oh I am so sorry, I do apologize, you have a nice day Miss. again I am so sorry."
Me : " I understand you were doing your job. No problem and besides you just made my day."

Since then though thanks to my specialist filling out a form my ID is now tagged female with a current picture even if the old name is still on it.
The only time I get a puzzled look now is if a cashier needs to see my ID and notices the name on it.
No one asks but they lose eye contact and don't know how to react. lol

It happened to me and I was practically pulled in to the woman's room. Its a really odd feeling of acceptance. As a fair weather CD'er the fun then began as I tried not to blow my cover.

lol that happened to me once a year or so ago in the mall if I remember my hair was pulled back lazy weekend day before I went full time I proly didnt have makeup on. well I was headed into the mens room back then it was norm when I was not dressed when a maintenance guy must have saw my hair or my nails and was all like hey Miss that is the wrong room I thanked him and used the ladies room. I dont think I ever went into a men's room again after that lol

As we grow our hair out and the hormones settle in this seems to be a common occurance for us, for sure with long hair, short stature, and gender neutral clothing (jeans & top), most of us are best using the Women's Restroom rather than Mens. Having Men turn around & leave as you exit & wait outside and security guards chasing us into the Men's restroom to "inform" us we made a mistake, for urgencies the only safe plan if you want to use the Men's room is to quickly go to the nearest urinal and pee. Sometimes it's fun to see the response of Men but it gets old sometimes....

I don't know what would happen if I walked into a Men's Bathroom/Toilet. Since coming out & going full-time
I have only ever used the Ladies Bathroom/Toilet. Never once has anyone ever raised an issue over me using
the Ladies Bathroom/Toilet, and I have always found the other women very friendly & just as talkative with me
as with any other girls in there. They often say Hello or make a comment about something in their day, they
don't seem to treat me any differently to any other genetic female, so I have to take that as a good thing.

There's been cases usually in big sports facilities where the number of women's restrooms is simply not enough and women have been seen using the men's rooms simply out of desperation.
