Who am I to argue?

Usually I'm asking questions, but today I have a good experience to share. Earlier in the week my wife and I drove 90 minutes to a hotel/casino on the Utah-Nevada border for a couple of nights R&R. I normally don't go out dressed en femme near home and this usually counts as 'near home'. So I dress in the room and it keeps me from putting all my money in the slot machines. This time after I was dressed my wife said "Why don't you go down to the casino and do a dry run since you're planning to go to DLV next month?"

Who am I to argue with someone so wise? I touched up my makeup, gave myself a spritz of perfume, made sure I had my room key and headed out the door. If anyone paid any attention to me, I didn't notice, so I counted that outfit, except the shoes, as a keeper for the upcoming trip to Las Vegas. I was able to try one more outfit the next night and it worked as well, so back in the room I let my wife know her suggestion was a good one. Not only did I get a confidence boost, but I won $130 on those trips to the casino floor. I only have to remember to take a camera with me on future trips like this, it's never been needed before.

Most places won't let you use a camera in the casino area, but pictures from other places in the resort would be nice.

Maybe split the $130 and buy treats for you and your wife?

I never thought of that one. "Honey, lets go to the casino. I need to test run all of my outfits." Now that sounds like a wonderful CDing night right there.

I've known my wife was a special lady for a very long time. Posting this just gives me a chance to brag a little.

All the money we win (a very rare event) goes back into the travel account (a coffee can full of change) for the next trip. With that kind of win, the next trip will roll around much sooner.

As for photos, since the outfits passed inspection, I'll have them in my suitcase for DLV and I have promised myself to get photos of every outfit I wear this time, even if it's in the hotel room mirror. Somehow I get busy, have a good time and forget about photos until I'm on the way home.

She recently had surgery and just didn't have the energy for this trip. We've been out together in the past and it is a treat.

I was going to say, "It looks like Sarah is LUCKIER than u!" But then, I read about u NOT taking pictures and I realized u CAN'T be a CD! We take SCADS of pics to prove we've been out somewhere dressed! Lol!

Thanks for mentioning your room key! I'd forgotten all about the PURSES I'll have to bring to DLV! Doh!
