Hi everyone , i was just sat here pondering another question . Let me start i work in a very masculine enviroment which incidently i hate but as such there are very few females there , the thing is i seem to have them gravitate towards me even though to my knowlage i treat them with respect but no differently than any other guy there so i suppose what im asking is does anyone think that the few women that are there have a kind of intuitive sense about someone like me ? for the record my take on this is that as humans we are far more subtle and intuitive than we realise .I realy would welcome theories on what others think .

They probably assume your a gay guy. Gay men mean NO pressure relationship so thats why they gravitate to ya.

:iagree:

Had the same reactions for years (many thought I was gay, even though I was never "flamboyant" acting)

Wow, nice hasty generalizations.

How about the guy is nice toward women instead of a chauvinistic Jerk?

Karen, there is a little wow factor to your thread and myself. Yesterday I had the afternoon off and stopped to have my car serviced. I ran into a friend who works there and she and I went out for lunch while the car was in being serviced. She and I sat and talked for an hour over pasta and she said to me she had always felt our connection was different in that she felt like she was always talking to another woman. Another friend that live 300 miles away said virtually the same thing when we worked together on committees. I do think they do realise there is something different there but maybe not know exactly why.

I assume they gravitate to you because you speak a smiliar language. What interests them interests you and vice versa. The guys probably stick together giving the gals the: "That's nice, but men are talking here" vibe. Whereas you actually talk to them as a peer. It's all probably a sub-concious thing but that's my theory and I'm sticking to it.
