No offense mate but haven't you had like 4 surgeries on your chest? It all seems a bit WTF to me, and probably to others who are afraid to ask. I've never heard of anyone having more than two surgeries on their chest...I've had one and it looks epic...I'm just a bit confused and concerned tbh.

Good luck with the lower surgeries tho! :)

Hi Peeps and just to clarify anyone who wants to ask me anything here on the forum knows they can and that I will explain what ever they want to know no problems. People who know me well here since 2006 know they don't have to be frightened to ask me questions about anything to do with my transition :)

Firstly before I catch you all up Re my chest.......

The procedure I'm having is not uncommon on males with smaller chests under a 'C' Cup usually. It is called a sub areolae double mastectomy plus Benelli Chest lift. It is very common in the states with most of the surgeons. In the Uk there are those who will do it this way if you are the appropriate chest size. The Main reason this is prefered and by Surgeons in the UK and world wide is because of the MINIMAL SCARING.

My surgeon was willing to give me a bilateral mastectomy if that is what I'd wanted but I didn't. His words not mine, "I don't believe in butchery and I've been advised by a top plastic surgeon in Oxford that the Benelli is the way forward."

I was astounded that he could do my chest this way as I was a rather large 38 C/D so I was in my element. He warned me that it could take multiple procedures to get it right so if I wanted top go ahead then he was pleased to do it. This is the procedures so far....

Jan 2010.... Lipo suction followed by time for skin shrinkage.

June 2010.... Lipo suction.........Skin shrinkage.

Novemeber 2010.... by this time he had removed 1000gms of fat and tissue. Benelli Chest Lift and double mastectomy sub areolae. Nipples resized not fully though.

So 3 procedures not 4 at this point!!!!!!

On the 4th of May I will be having further lipo. I must add here that I'm extremely pleased with things so far and Scars well there aint any :)

Following this next lipo I will have a further chest lift and nipple reduction and that should do the trick later this year when all my lower surgery is complete.

Importantly one must remember this is the first time my surgeon has done this on a Transsexual Male even though he has done many genetic males with chest problems reconstructing chests of many cancer patients.

I am extremely happy with his work so far and would recommend him to anyone who wants minimal scaring.

Sorry about that peeps but It had to be said as we are all individuals and we all have the right to choose the way we want to approach this, the biggest most immense journey in our lives. We certainly don't need putting down for our personal choices about our journeys. Each to their own.

Now catch up......Lower surgery

Thanx to all of you for following my story so far and supporting me with your kind words and encouragement it means a lot.... Felix

Hi peeps Im 10 days post op stage three which I had under the care of Mr
Christopher in Spire Thames Valley Hispital. He did the usual when one has it in
four stages,
Resivoir Implant
Glands Sculpting
Testicle Implant

After surgery he told me he had done things differently because he had taken an
extra skin graft off my left ball sack and used it to one lengthen my uretha
which had no stritures it was just a little short and two too strengthen the
back of my phallus.

I like the way he has implanted my right testicle he gave me a large one and he
had stretched the skin across the base under the phallus and this has given the
appearance of a well defined ball sack:-) The left ball sack is smaller but this
is quite normal in the case of genetic males so I have no worries there.

Im pleased with the glands I can see most of it even though its dressed as the
bulk of the dressing only covers the ridge. It looks asthetically pleasing.

I am catheterised again because of how hes done things and my willy has to
remain upright until the graft takes on the back of the phallus. I have to go
back to Harley street this Tuesday and then maybe two weeks later but have to
see what the nurse specialist says. Touch wood everything will be good as as all
my healing so far really. My plan is to have stage four in the Summer Holidays
if all goes well as I have full sensation.

Just to add a bit I went to see Mandi on Tuesday and she was extremely pleased
with my healing I was too I'm really pleased with the look he has given me its
really natural. We agreed that I should leave my catheter in until after my next
chest op on the 4th of May which is a pain but hey ho it gives the uretha more
time to heal.

I'm just waiting now for a date for stage 4 in the Summer Holidays :)

Felix :)

Hya 7 hows you these days? Time seems to be rolling by while im going through all these surgeries and I havent been on the boards as much. Some of it due to the fact I couldnt sit at the comp coz of my wounds some because Ive just been so exhausted from it all. Posting on my phone can be a pain lol. Plus when I went back to work I was coming home eating and falling asleep within a few hours especially if Id been the gym. All in the aid of keeping fit for the next op. So thats about where I am Seven :-) xx Felix

My dear Felix, it has been such a joy sharing your journey. And I must say how I admire not only the strength of character you have maintained as you have traveled this path, and that I am in awe of your attitude. I could not be any happier that the surgeries you have endured are having the desired effects for for you (and your gf :)). But the true measure of a man comes from within. You are one of the manliest men I know.

Hya peeps well as I thought I have an infection under the graft on my glands. Since the stitches have started dissolving I have been worried coz its beeb weeping and just wasnt drying out. So I went to the docs today and hes put me on antibiotics 500mg 4x daily for a week so that should do the trick. Fingers crossed coz ive got my chest surgery next week on the fourth. .... Felix :-)

Ooh, I hope it's nothing serious. (Probably isn't - I'm pretty sure that, contrary to reports, most infections are not liable to ruin your life if caught and treated in a timely manner.)

Please check with your doctor and see if you need to take a probiotic since you are taking antibiotics.
