Who loves dancing in beautiful long skirts/dresses?

I love dancing in a beautiful full sweep skirt or dress. Its one of the most femme feelings and moments you can have. I've been out a few times where i've worn long chiffon skirts or silk skirts. I love the shimmering, twirling, etc. I've danced with real girls, and even the hot guy on accasion. I cant wait for the formal ball in augast. I get to wear my long chiffon floor length ball gown. To dance in my fave gown is my ultimate dream and its coming true. I'll be like Ginger Rogers in my gorgous gown..

I use to dance quite regularly! But with one leg, not so much anymore! STILL LOVE LONG GOWNS!

Well, I have not gone out to any dances yet but I do love the feel of a long skirt/dress when I am dancing in the room. I love the feel of it as I twirl and walk around. Normally i prefer shorter skirts and dresses but if I am dancing, nothing beats the longer outfits.

Hi Pretty Flowing Gown -- I am with you on that one. I enjoy dancing in any length skirt that is sufficiently full to have nice movement of it's own, and exaggerate and embellish my movements. I love dresses with swing skirts from the fifties, and full circle skirts too. My dancing stays in the house, so wearing out-of-style clothes is no issue. My wife (who is a full blooded Southern Magnolia, but rarely admits it) explained to me once that letting my skirt swing when walking or dancing was scandalous. A true southern belle does not walk, swing, or bounce; she floats and glides, and the dress stays perfectly still. That can be fun for a while, but apparently I just have a scandalous nature.

I was thinking a harem outfit might be fun, googled about, and I ran across the belly dancing site a couple weeks ago. I can't even describe my initial reaction. I run across many outfits online, and every now and then the primal core of my brain rises up and shouts "WANT!" This was one of those moments. The site also has all the jangly coin jewelry that goes with the outfits. I get dizzy just thinking about the complete ensemble.

Maybe I'll get the videos and learn to do the dances, too.
