Any groups in the Central New York area????

Hello all!

I would like to ask any of my sisters out there if you know of any support groups in the upstate/central New York region? I've looked online and haven't really found anything. :sad:

I live about 50 miles from nowhere, and realize I'll have to travel. But, all of the groups I've found have been in NH, VT, CT, and Mass. I can travel, but not really that far.

Not looking for any "hook-up" type groups. Just support, friendship, shopping, etc...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are, and many folks involved in these groups know me personally. I don't think there are any left in Albany (after 50 years? TVIC shut down a few years ago, if I remember right, don't know what happened to the one in Schenectady.)

Thank you Vickie. Syracuse is doable...maybe Rochester. I was hoping to find something in the Utica / Rome / Mohawk Valley area. But, it's nice to know that there's something in the upstate region.
