View Full Version : Women's clothes comfortable?

Hi, girls,

Hope everyone is feeling pretty today! I have a question. Do you consider women's clothes comfortable? I have heard GG's talk about how uncomfortable they are wearing panyhose, a bra, pointy shoes, etc. I love wearing the softest, frilliest clothing that stretches and drapes. It feels o-o-o-oh so heavenly to move about in it! But I do feel the tightness of my panties at the waist and legs. I love the tightness of my pantyhose encasing my legs lower body. I adore the soft snugness of my bra. Most of my shoes are narrow and pointed and after a few hours in them my feet ache, but I love the way they look. I feel so feminine and wonderful in these things that I have come up with a saying: they are "deliciously uncomfortable." What do you girls think? Stay pretty!

Love,
Stephanie Kay

i think we are lucky! We can switch as we feel, or as is acceptable! I love to wear fem clothes, all of my underwear is fem (apart from emergency boxers, and they are silk!), I nearly always change into something fem after work too. In agree on the shoe front, I have some low heel fem boots that I wear with fem jeans through the winter, and girl, they did kill my feet to start with, and new ones still do, but once I'e broken them in they are not tooo bad!
I choose my fem clothes for comfort as well as style and sexiness, so i am lucky! Underwired bras can be a bit uncumfortable at times, but apart from that I can wear most things!

Its like everything else. If things don't fit right, they aren't comfortable. Pointy shoes that cramp the toes are going to be uncomfortable so either don't buy them or get some that fit. I find women's clothes very comfortable with the exception of a corset when I have to bend over and do active type things.

My wife used to buy and try to wear stuff because it looked good. A lot of it was not comfortable. Most of that has now been tossed and she buys classy stuff that feels good.

I'm wearing exclusively female clothes daily. I wear slacks, tops and flats daily and they are super comfortable. The shoes tend to be much lighter in weight, the pants are often stretchy and made of very nice material and the tops seem to be no different to what men wear in terms of comfort.

I think certain things can be uncomfortable to wear for long periods e.g. high heels, stockings, certain types of lingerie.

Lastly, although I rarely wear them for anything other than a party, dresses are brilliant.

Once you're comfortable in your own skin then classy comfort is definitely the way to go, as Bernadina mentioned previously about her wife.

Stephanie I agree with you.The tighter my girdles/corsets feel the better I feel. But when I wear my foundations my outfit has to be lose.So I wear tops that are comfortable along with my jean skirts. But I do have these pumps that I bought from Fredericks of Hollywood that after a while my feet hurt. But I consider that a badge or courage because if GG have to go through it so do I.

It can sometimes be a pain, but I do find misses jeans to be a lot more comfortable than mens.

Hello Stephanie :) Well I think it depends on the length of time that you wear them for to decide what is comfortable.
For me by the time it gets to late evening I'm kinda pleased to just get undressed have a bath and just wear an old comfy night shirt and my fluffy bunny slippers, thats real comfort ;)

Most of the day I'm really quite a dowdy dresser, loose skirt what I can actually move in and usually a loose top and my favourite .....the cardi :)

As for heels well I love buying them (can't resist them) but to be honest it's very rare I wear them.

love mand xxx :)

I have always found women's panties are miles more comfortable than male underwear and find wearing a skirt or a dress when at home a lot better than the restrictions of trousers.

If the clothes are a good fit I find female clothes to be very comfortable. I have a few pairs of shoes with 3in heels and I couldn't believe how comfortable they are. I can wear them all day without discomfort. However I only buy the wider sizes. I also wear an obg and bra for long periods with no problems. At the moment I can hardly feel my bra. I find that most of the clothes that I have are comfortable and I find wearing them very relaxing.

It never ceases to amaze me how versatile femme gear is. It is so soft and smooth and yet can so firm and snug.

I've got a thing recently for camisoles (bought about twenty in the last six months) and they are just fantastic. Camis are so much warmer than male singlets or t-shirts in the winter and yet so cool in the summer.

As for shoes I wear only open-toed slides or sandals, so I don't get that pinched toe feeling. I'm wearing a pair of 3"slides right now and I hardly know I've got them on.

hi girls,

i can see both sides of the story really.

i love to dress the feeling of the bra straps, panty and other clothes just feels like heaven, makes me feel so beautiful however after a long day or anything like that, it does become somewhat of a relief to disrobe and remove the girly items, so there are two sides.

personally i am more than happy to put up with a little pain to make up for the lovely feel and gorgeous look.

kisses,

Like you, I love the way wearing lingerie feels. It feels good, I think it looks good, so it must be good! Actually wearing 2 bras at the moment along with a pair of pueple flowered panties. I think after 40 years of doing this, I'll keep on!! I even go out here lately wearing stuff. Not advertising, but what fun.

I love pantyhose, but it does suck how easily they run. Makeup is fun, but can be frustrating if you smear it or don't get it shaded or even on both sides of the face, and let's not even get started with sweating while getting ready. In general I can say I feel lucky being able to flip flop whenever I want, my wife dresses very tomboyish and I can understand why and don't really complain much because I'm the most understanding person she can be married to.

I much prefer ladies clothing. I have mentioned this several times. My only problem is I will change my outfit several times a day, depending on where I'm going, and what I'm doing. It can become tired some. Still have to match my shoes for tomarrow....

Aloha,
I agree with a lot of you girls, if it's not sized right, it's going to be uncomfortable. I do notice a lot of GGs always try to get into something one or two sizes too small. Personally, I prefer the feel of stockings with or without garters to be more comfortable than panty hose. As far as shoes, got a pair of 4" heels that are quite easy to wear, they are open toe, which I think is more sexy. besides, I love to see my painted toenails.

Living in Chicago, you have to throw the weather into the mix. One of the greatest days of my crossdressing life was when it was like 95 degrees and I went out wearing nothing but a bra, panties and sundress. It felt wonderful! On the flip side, I know first-hand why Chicago women rarely show their legs in the winter: nylons are no match for a blast of sub-zero wind off Lake Michigan. In general, I agree with most of the other comments. I have become a devotee of pants lately, like most real girls I prefer them to skirts or dresses, although it's fun to put on a skirt or dress on a whim. Finally, I am a big believer in flats: they are much more comfortable, and if you are on the tall side heels present one more challenge if you are trying to pass. Hi Stephanie Kay,

Welcome to the forum :)

If I'm just wandering around the house then I tend to be more relaxed in jeans, t-shirt and a cardi (btw my bra despite wearing it all day never bothers me one bit).

However, if I'm trying to feel more femme and less "girly-boy" then I'm likely to wear my corset, heels, tight skirt, wig make up etc. Wearing this kind of clothes for a long time (especially a corset and high heels) can be quite uncomfortable.

So after giving the long answer.....the short answer is: "depends" :)

I just CANNOT WAIT to zip into, corset tie, tuck, tape and wiggle into my clothing..NOTHING feels better to me, the longer I can be Tara the better she feels.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh !!!

I feel very at home in a skirt and blouse than I ever did in boys clothes. Womens clothes are much more colorful and feel softer. Womens shoes whether they are heels, flats, or boots are very comfortable to wear and make any outfit look good.

I would kill to wear skirts and dresses everyday and would never complain how long it takes me to get ready. GG's are so lucky that they can wear these kinds of clothes, but most of them don't. That is such ashame.

hose may be hot in the summer, but hose with a nice skirt are not as warm as a pair of slacks; I really enjoy a skirt in the summer and the feeling of the air on my legs. I can see how anything with a skirt or dress is colder that a pair of slacks in the winter. I cannot comment on the discomfort of a pair of heels after a full day; I don't think they are to be worn if you are going to be on your feet all day. I have not had the opportunity to wear a bra for more than six hours, I don't know how uncomfortable they can be.

Don't remember what boys clothes feel like. Some things I own are awful to wear but look drop dead gorgeous. Other things are super cozy but look 'look at her, she's let herself go'. The holy grail is to find drop dead gorgeous and cozy... I try to only buy certain labels because I know it will fit like a glove, look like pure sex, and feel snug and comfortable; but there are those times when style wins and I put up with the odd cutting strap or pinched toe *sigh*

I think Lisa ^^^ hit it on the nose...

Some stuff is just not all that comfortable... for me it is the real short skirts (mini skirts) that some people like to wear. I feel like if I put my legs in the wrong posistion of something I will expose myself, a little more freedom with longer skirts though. I find knickers and jeans the most comfortable with a normal feminine top or some medium length (not to short) shorts. Pantyhose I find not too comfortable, as the larger heels... 3 inchers though are not too bad... expecially with size 15 feet.

Some of my guy stuff is quite comfortable, like my polo shirts and boxers, some stuff I hate... like slacks, dress shirts, ties, etc. I guess everyone has their likes and dislikes though!

For me women's clothes are way more comfortable. Just a few days ago my legs and back were aching real bad. So I put on a Girdle, BodyBriefer and 2 pair of pantyhose. All the pains were gone. Add to the top of all that a nice fitting long dress and then that is heaven on earth. Too bad there are kids around and that doesn't happen very often.

I feel more comfortable dressed enfemme than I do in drab. I prefer a looser fitting dress or skirt, but a tight top to show off "the twins". Shoes are my only complaint. Have yet to find a pair that is comfortable all day long, but then again I've always been a barefoot country girl. Alternative there is toe nails polished 24/7.

I feel very comfortable wearing femme clothing. Much more than when I had to dress for work in the dreadful suit and tie.
I wear a bra most of the time, and it is to a point that I almost feel naked when now wearing one. I have worn a bra and waist cincher for as long as 18 hours when travelling and really did not even notice I was wearing them as they were so comfortable.
I can remember one day at lunch, when I was working full time, complaining to the gg's ( who worked in an office ) I was sitting with, about having to wear a tie in the office. They said that i was lucky as they felt wearing a tie was not as bad as having to wear a bra and pantyhose, As I write this note, i am wearing my bra, panty hose, and a nice skirt. I find wearing a nice skirt after working all day to be so relaxing, as you do not have the restricion of the legs of the slacks, and it is also so very much cooler in the hot weather like we have had this past summer. ( + 35C or more ). A nice top to show off my natural twins, is also so very comfortable.
Forunately I do not have to wear a tie every day now, as i do not know how i would be able to put up with it

I think Lisa says it pretty good. I can identify with that.
Thanks Lisa

P.S. Sorry Lisa I had to edit the "i don't remember what boys clothes feel like". Because sadly I know very well what male clothes still feel like. Though I am trying not to.

Like men's clothes, some women's clothing is comfortable, some isn't.

On the whole, women's clothing does tend to be more fitted than men's, so it can be tighter and less comfortable. OTOH, the fabric used in women's clothing is often stretchier, which compensates.

One key thing to remember is we're often not wearing women's clothing for as long as period of time as GGs do. I love the feeling of wearing hose, but if I had to wear it all the time, I'd probably not be thrilled by it -- as just most GGs aren't.

Just wearing any kind of women things make me feel 100% comfortable.

The rest doesn't care.

I find women's clothing to be extremely comfortable and relaxing to wear.

I take the point that we often do not have to wear it for as long periods of time as GG's if we do not want to, but i still don't think that would stop me from dressing as a girl all the time if I could get away with it.

It is completely baffling to me that GG's get to wear skirts and dresses whenever they want, and yet they wear trousers most of the time these days. I just don't understand that. They don't know how lucky they are!

Women's clothes are more comfortable. It depends upon the cut, also. I prefer loose fitting clothes. Women's clothes are softer, especially panties. My stockpile is getting bigger and bigger.
