My wife asked me if I thought it was weird that our teenage son didn't have a girlfriend. I said maybe he's just particular. I said what kind of girls does he like? She said he doesn't like the preppy ones, or the nerdy ones, or the jockettes, he likes the regular ones. She says he's looking for the female version of himself.

I freeze. I don't know what to say or think. I blush.

What did that mean? Is that what I'm doing? It's too late, I'm already married, but now I am turning into the female version of myself. I wonder if he will be a CD too.

Is anybody else attracted to their girl sides?

I think I would be more attracted to someone who looks better than me.
Seriously, while there have to be some common interests, the old adage of "opposites attract" does have some truth to it. It's good to be with someone that compliments yourself and is not just a mirror image of it.
