Hey All: I wanted to share with you all a snippet of a canversation my wife and I had last evening....

We were sitting on the sofa just before bedtime, her wearing her shorts and a tee, with me wearing a pair of summer pj's a bra w/my forms. I wasn't "dressed" no wig or makeup If the truth be known I was probably a "sorry” sight being half dressed.

Anyway we’re were whispering sweet nothings to each other. She then told me something I thought was sweet

"You know Dani" she said "When you came out to me as a "cross-dresser" it cleared up a lot of things for me"

"Oh yeah" I said "like what"?

"Well. I didn't realize it till then, but I always was amazed that some of of your best qualities were what society would call Feminine....You're gentle, and understanding......like babies, and flowers, shopping and gossiping, theater and the arts. You don’t care about "Macho" stuff like most men.

I can honestly say that if you walked into a room full of woman.......... wearing a leather jacket and biker gear, within 15 minutes all would relate to you on a feminine level (and not even realize it)

I almost cried, I thought that was the sweetest thing anyone had ever told me

I love to hear the thoughts of the folks on this board

That was very sweet. You've got a wonderful wife. I like to think that the feminine side of me adds something to my marriage as well. Furthermore, I acknowledge that some of my less desirable attributes are "traditional male" behaviors.

Dani, that was sweet of her to say that to you..she is very special indeed :) Its great that she saw those qualities in you.. I have always seemed to be one who showed the 'hard' side of me, mainly due to facial expressions (look angry if not smiling, even though I'm not). But I was no where near the hard biker type..lol. Anyway, lately I have found myself just enjoying communicating and express at whatever level I feel. But a thought did occur to me yesterday as I walked out of Fredrick's of Hollywood. I had met the female manager at another store in which I had told her about my cding after spending time "shopping for someone else". "Why didn't you just say so, it makes it so much easier"

Anyway, I stopped by to see her and of course pick up some cute panties. After some chitchat, I walked out thinking "Does she think I'm gay?".. lol.. So I'm wondering if it could be a hamper to show this side to soon.. :)

Again, you are very fortunate to have an understanding and accepting wife.. :)

Its really great that your wife realized this part of you on her own. I am the one who had to point out to my wife when I first came out to her that it was my feminine qualities she also fell in love with when we first met

My late wife knew that I was a CD when we married, because I told her about me when we got engaged!! A month or 2 after we were married, she said to me pretty much what your wife has said to you! It was for me, and is for you, a truly exciting thing to have your wife recognise that you do have a feminine side!! Give your wife a Great Big Hug, and never let her forget that you are also the man in her life!!

My thought is that you should give her your most feminine hug, and repeat often! That was such a sweet thing for her to say!
