I wonder if anyone here goes out in public wearing womens clothes without your wig or make up? I often go out in a long skirt and womens shirt with sandles. I am totally bald so it is obvious I am a guy. Am I the only one who does this? I cant be!

I wore a pair of capri's to the lake and no one batted an eye. So I wore them to a restaurant that evening for supper and still no one even gave a second glance. I loved it.

I seldom wear a wig when out and about. But I do have on low rise jeans, bra, forms, blouse and makeup. Yes, I am a guy wearing womens clothes. I would prefer to wear a wig and pass as a hot chic, but I can't get my head to look like a girl.

Yes i have been out in the past with long skirts on and i have very little hair ,i now wear women's wide leg jeans or trousers all the time and am thinking about going out in a skirt again , even if i put a wig on my body language would give me away so i don`t quite know which way to go yet .

It really is a spectrum, isn't it. I thought I had separated things really well until one day I was sitting in my office wearing a turtle-neck, a sweater from Victorias Secret, low-rise jeans and panties from VS, and loafers that certainly could have been either gender. I looked in the mirror and looked like a guy, but I had not one identifiable "guy" piece of clothing on. It made me wonder where the boundary is. At what point do people running into you casually on the street click, "guy" or "girl" at that first glance? If I had added hair, makeup, and breasforms, I'm pretty sure that I would have instantly turned into a girl at first glance. Maybe worrying about "passing" is a bit nebulous?

My late wife always did my makeup and fixed my wig before I went out as Stephanie! Now that she has passed on, I just dress enfemme and go out as a guy in a skirt and feminine top. Of course everything else is feminine also!! But no wig and no makeup. Been doing it for almost 6 years now!! Have never had any problems! I do get compliments on my outfits!! And yes, i do everywhere dressed that way!!

When it's warm out, i wear panties and sheer energy suntan pantyhose under my shorts. I do get some looks from time but nothing negative, or they just don't notice.

I recently went out in bra, panties, hose, ladies slacks, ladies polo shirt, and a pair of heels. I don't have the time, place or know how to do makeup, so if / when I go out, I appear to be a male in female clothes. And yes, I have been out in a dress without wig / makeup / etc.

at least half of my everyday clothing is from the women's department. This includes slacks, shorts, tops, sweaters and no one has ever said anything bad. I do get compliments about looking sharp tho. I will wear a skirt and top around the house especially now that the weather is warmer.

I go out often with forms, bra, either guy or girl loose fitting top, girl jeans, and sandals. Get some questioning looks sometimes, but not often.

I do go out as a male wearing a skirt, pantyhose & heels.

Actually a friday or two ago I did not have panty hose on, just male wearing a jean skirt and heels. I did get looks, but no negative comments. I asked for the powder I needed and purchased it like normal, as it should be.

I have to admit that doing so has never crossed my mind. I'm not interested in be perceived a a guy in a dress, or skirt, I want to be perceived as a woman. Even if I'm read I still want to be treated like a woman. But hey, what ever floats your boat.

Suchacutie, look a bit closer. There are often subtle differences between men's and women's clothing. If you don't look for them or expect them they probably won't be noticed. I have both men and women's jeans. Men's jeans have full length pockets and long zippers and are cut much slimmer. T-shirts, the men's have rounder necklines whereas the women's might have a slight taper going outward to the shoulders. I've worn a complete set of women's clothing sans makeup and nobody has batted an eye.

I prefer dressing in women’s clothes while presenting myself as a woman: wigs, makeup, forms, etc. But I can’t always present myself as a woman.

But now, I buy mostly female clothes. When presenting as a female, I wear a size 6 or 8 in jeans/pants. But, in male mode I wear a size 12 so that the jeans/pants appear loose, the way that many guys wear them. What’s most difficult is finding women’s shirts that I can wear in male mode, but I have had some luck. The point being that when presenting as either male or female, I am wearing women’s clothes.

Today, I went to the movies; wearing women clothes only: panties, jeans, t-shirt, jacket and sneakers, but presenting myself as male. To me this is the best of both worlds.

Let me be clear, the women clothes that I wear when presenting as male are a few sizes larger and gender neutral — but they are women’s clothes.

I never go out dressed partially.. With me, it's all out or "endrabbe"

Presenting myself as a total Doode, or a total woman is the choice I undertake.. So far I've not had any difficulties maintaining my "male" image

Seriously though, it takes me from 2-3 hrs to get dressed, after all a gurl has to change her wardrobe at least six times to be considered female doesn't she, or is that ME when I'm BLONDE :D

Like Yolanda, with me it is all or nothing when I go out.

Now when I was in my early teens I did take an absolute delight in talking with some girls while I was wearing their panties under my jeans. They had no idea. They were sisters of my male school friends who I had stolen some of my first clothing from when being around their homes. (Panties and a few skirts)

I will partially dress at home, but since those early days I never wanted to blur the edges. Either David was out there in the real world, or Susan. David is totally male mode and Susan is fully en femme – no frillies under David’s jeans and no jockey shorts under Susan's dresses.

Wear what you like, this is 2011 honey. Other than panties and or hose, I do wear ladies jeans around the house and even out to eat etc. I may branch out to wearing more as the jeans part of that is fairly new to me. I am more interested in wearing makeup in male mode and am just begininng to experiment with that.

As a pre-HRT M2F, even when out in drab, I dress entirely in women's clothes. Bra and panties underneath, skinny/flared bottom jeans or leggings, a tight t-shirt or sweater. I have 2 pairs of mostly gender neutral women's sneakers, a pair of leather slide sandals and pink flip-flops. I let my hair down, put on a light pink eyeshadow, mascara and clear lipgloss. I stay clean shaven all the time. I've gotten a few giggles from the teenage girls, and confused a lot of guys as I've exited the men's restroom. My drab look is very androgynous, and the only time you'll see me in guy clothes -- i.e. slacks, collared shirt and loafers, is if we've got clients in the office at work or for special family events.

I also have my finger and toe-nails painted, usually black, or a very dark purple or green.

Count me in the without group! I don't own forms or wigs, they just don't feel like me. I do like lipstick and nail polish but that's it for makeup for me so it's pretty obvious what I am and am not too. I try to be pleasant no matter what I'm wearing and just get about the business that got me out of the house in the first place.

Velly intellesting! Different strokes, rite?

For myself, I call ANYTHING that doesn't include my face and wig, "partial dressing". I do that at home once in a blue moon. When I DO, I stay away from mirrors! NO WAY, I'd be caught out like that!

Regularly, though what I wear is not really considered for women only, thought mostly women wear them (leggings). I have worn skirts in full male mode to, and have gotten compliments. Have not done so in a while though.

Thanks for the memory!

Actually I was the victim of an upwards cascade effect. When I first started wearing boots (Obviously femme boots, 3" and 4.5" heels) I felt that I needed the practice, so I just started wearing them out a lot. To the grocery store, so forth. And I thought they looked silly poking out of my regular jean, so I went with the femme Jeans. Which clashed with my regular t shirt and so forth.....

Well, I've never been out in a skirt and top without wig and forms like you're suggesting, but I do wear girls clothes in boy mode. I'll wear perhaps say a pair of capris, women's flip flops or flat open toed sandals plus a fitted girls tee and a baseball cap. People can tell I am a guy but they can also tell that my clothes are women's ones. I like being feminine in my presentation and it doesn't have to be all or nothing for me although , to be honest, most of the time I do dress fully (but not always).

It was interesting hearing all of your responces. I often go out in a skirt and painted toenails and fingernails. I wondered how weird this was. I guess to the general public it must look quite strange!

I don't even own a wig or makeup. I wear women's shorts or jeans all the time, and occasionally capris, as well as pantyhose and ballet flats ot mary-janes. I think they are both comfortable and practical. There are a few looks occasionally, but never anything negative.

For years I thought that I was the only one who underdressed, seems i'm not alone. Yesterday being Mothers Day I was out and about with a pair of Capris, a very Fem. top, make up, jewelry, a pair of white canvas shoes. Never got those od stares. I get the greatest rush dressing like this. I call it the Female side of the Adrogynous look............

I always wear my bra around the house and out in the public. I buy tops that are much better than any mens and at this time I feel more female than ever just a little makeup and a top and a pair of slacks and Iam ready to go.

My attire is unisex. Outerware is always women's clothes but without gender "flags" as I must present in "boy mode" when out with my wife as she will now tolerate that and doesn't yet want to be with me in "girl mode." However, underware can be obviously feminine as that isn't apparent. I think men should be as comfortable wearing women’s clothes as women are in wearing men’s clothing. Through experience I have found the following specifics:

!) Slacks: Women’s pull on pants are much easier to put on than men’s belted pants. They do not need a fake fly as the absence of it is usually not apparent, but I prefer non-figured and solid color, non-pastel pants so they are not readily identified as women’s clothing.

2) Briefs: Underwear with a fly is unnecessary with pull on pants. Although there are no-fly men’s briefs, women’s full-cut cotton briefs work just as well, and are often cheaper.

3) Slips: Shirttails tend to readily pull out of pull on pants and a bare back is usually uncomfortable when seated. A “solution” is to wear a full slip that is short enough to be worn with slacks. Another lingerie option is a slip with a crotch closure to preclude a pulled out shirttail. Also slips are usually made of material that makes it easier to pull on pants.

4) Bra: I wouldn't have identified a bra as andrognynous, but it can be... My favorite slip is a Vanity Fair spin slip but it doesn't have adjustable straps and they fall off my shoulders. This is a lot less likely to occur when wearing a bra with adjustable straps!

5) Pantyhose: An MD suggested that I wear support pantyhose to avoid the indentation in my lower legs that mid-calf or knee-high socks make. Pantyhose do not require anything that is not also needed with pull on pants. I expected that opaque ones would be best, so they wouldn't be readily identified as women's hosiery, but that isn't necessary and non-opaque pantyhose are OK and are more available.

6) Purse: Keeping a wallet, comb, notepad, phone, and keys in pants pockets is awkward as it is hard to extract them when seated, and pockets in women’s pull on pants are often not very deep anyway. My “solution” is to use a small shoulder purse, which can either be worn or secured in a basket when that is available.

I posted these suggestions on a non-CD forum. Some people found the same "problems" that my accommodations addressed, but they suggested alternative solutions that they found more PC, but the overwhelming response asserted that my motivation was an attempt to justify cross-dressing and that men should only wear menswear period and avoid "girl things" even when suitable apparel is available in the Women’s Department.

I like that if you change the wording a bit :D to something like,
That i should only wear womenswear period and avoid " men's things" even when suitable apparel is available in the Men's department.
Can i get away with saying " it is only clothes now :heehee:

I often go out wearing androgynously baggy men's clothes, e.g. cargo pants and anorak or a hoody, with makeup, earrings, nail polish and wig. Wouldn't even think of the opposite, but that's just my mindset. I admire the chutzpah of those who go out with a male facial presentation and female clothes. Bravo!

I only go out this way. I don't own a wig or makeup, and I have no desire to. I wear either dresses or skirts slightly above the knee, with pantyhose and high heels whenever I go out. I'm obviously a guy, and very few people care.

I go out in public wearing womens low rise jeans, bootcut or skinny, with either platform heels, flats,or MIA kitten heel ankle boots, and a nice JMS tunic top,or a JMS tank top, without a wig and makeup, except for mascara now and then because I have very long eye lashes and I love showing them off, especially when I have to visit the Salt Lake VA hospital, the Mormon doctors are extremely bothered by the mascara. :D

I always wear bra, panties, girls tight low rise stretch jeans, girls top, : the other day I went out in capris for the first time and got a few stares, I have bought several pairs and plan to wear them more. I used to wear real short junior short shorts, my wife said she would prefer I would wear longer shorts, my answer to this is capris... my next step is leggings witha long tunic.. I already wear bootcut black yoga pants that have a definite VPL....

Saw a couple men wearing capris in Vegas a few years ago. Hopefully they're more common now. I like to wear shear energy pantyhose with them and shorts too, but that doesn't seem to be very common for GG's.

I never wear a wig,as for makeup, sometimes mascara when I have a VA doctor appointment, the mascara drives the mormon doctors nuttier than they already are.

I don't want to look like a woman,I just like their clothes and shoes.
