Need better cover for my beard, any suggestions?

hello ladies,

I have been using my wifes foundation, but upon closer analysis, it doesn't cover my beard and stach very well. Rather than learning by trial and error, can you ladies provide me some insight as to what you have used and what works best?

I use MAC full coverage foundation. I have a medium beard (or shadow) and it covers it very well.

I take the brightest red lipstick I have and streak it on my face where beard and mustache grows (after shaving as close as possible). Then I rub it in to an even coverage over said area. Then I apply foundation and really blend it in. The red lipstick base completely covers the "blue" facial hair area very well.
