I don't know if this will work, but I am sharing my thoughts on Mothers day with a link to my blog. And to all of you who have mothers - happy mothers day :heehee:

Sejd, this is a concept I have felt strongly about. For one I agree with you. The concept of motherhood is different than being female in that we cannot ever have children. When my wife passed in an accident it tore the family apart for a time, no one was going to replace her and nobody was going to be mom but her. Then when my family learned of my transition there was this feeling I was going to replace this motherly figure by my transition. No that would have never happened and although there are people out there who would like to make that connection, it is totally wrong.

I celebrate each woman who is a mother and for that they are held in reverance. Happy Mothers Day to all.
