Last week I was in Wales UK as Gail on a business trip. Whilst I was there, I decided to spend a little time to do some shopping in Cardiff. I came across a lovely quaint vintage dress shop.
I went in and looked around and it was not long before I found a gorgeous vintage summer dress. I asked the shop assistant if I could try it on, she was very helpful and directed me to the dressing room. Then something crossed my mind. I think I know the shop assistant from somewhere, and when I was trying on the dress it was puzzling me were I did I know this lady from.
The dress fitted perfectly it was the right length and shape and unusually it had a taffeta lining which made the dress flare around the skirt. I will still wear a nice slip with it (as always). It then dawned on me that the lady assistant was a girl I knew from my teenage days back in the east end of London. I got back into my normal skirt and top and as I walked out of the changing room, she was just coming in to see how I was doing when she realised that she knew me too and we both said together that we knew each other. I was a little nervous as the last time we saw each other was in a pub called The Horns (now called Browns) in Shoreditch London. She confessed that she was shocked but pleasantly surprised I was as Gail. She said I was very convincing (her words not mine). We exchanged some of our history and we made a pact to meet up in London the next time she was there. We also exchanged phone numbers.

The shop assistant has visited London since we met in Wales and she stayed at my house so i will post what happened soon.
