Red bumps all over legs...

I shaved my legs with a ladies venus sensitive razor the other day and got horrible red bumps all over my legs which seem to get worse as the hair grows. My wife suggested I not shave them for a week or so, as she believes it is razor burn. I don't think it is because it started like 2 days after the initial shave. Any help would be appreciated.

Robin, I hope you find an answer to this but I have a feeling you will not. I have been shaving my legs for several months now and my red bumps have not gone away. They are not as bad as they first were but they are still there. I think it is just skin type - I have always had the bumps they were just hidden by the hair.
