You have to love those one day trips

Had to make another of those fast day trips to Madison WI for some medical issues and finished faster than expected. Gave us some time for a little shopping and my SO asked where I would like to go. Had already checked out DSW on line and suggestted we go there to check out some shoes. Checked out this pair of platform 3.5 inch heels and a size 11 was there. My SO told me to try them on so I watched for other shoppers and tried one. I decided to ask one of the clerks (she was pretty good looking) and I simply asked her if I could try this shoes on in the restroom and before she answered I opened the box a little so she could see what I had. She smiled and said "why not". They did fit nice and I bought them along with 3 pair my SO bought. As we were leaving the store, the clerk was up front and she replied, "they must have fit" and gave me the cutiest smile ever. Will take some getting use to since they are higher than anyones I now have. Practice, practice, practice. :)

Good for you Nancie. It sounds like you had a great time. Yes you might need some practice in those heels but I dont see anything wrong with that.

Why try the shoes on in the restroom? Why not just try them on in the store?

Yea for day trips!! I'm truly surprised that in liberal Madison you have to hide trying on heels in public? I've never had an issue, even walking around the store in a male dress suit and 4" pumps... To try them out...
