Hya peeps Im sooooooo excited Im going to have my final lower surgery, the erectile device. This is the big one for me the one that will mean a functioning penis and like any guy with erectile dysfunction mine will be functioning again :-) Hoot Hoot :-) xx Felix

Congratulations Felix. Is that the same type of device that men use with the little pump in the scrotum to inflate the penis? I had prostate cancer and belong to Yahoo support group, PCIA (prostate cancer intimacy and some other word). I lot of men are going for them. You may want to check out the group and read some of the older posts on that topic to understand some of their results, side effects and possible complications with that procedure. I am not sure if you can join easily since it is for cancer victims and their loved ones to learn how to restart the intimacy after the cancer treatment and the unfortunate side effects associated with that. I have read some of the posts, and there can be some complications as with any type of surgery. PM me if you want a link to that group, or can't get in. Good luck. Later you have to tell us the details of how it works! Privately, if necessary. ha ha

Hi Allie and thank you sooooo much for sharing something so personal :-)
As far as the device yeah its the same two silocone resivoirs in the penis which are filled with fluid from a resivoir in my abdomen controlled by the pump in my scrotal sac. Its called the AMX 700 and is the one most commonly used by the team here in the UK. We all know that there are or can be problems associated with the device and we are versed in those pre op. Like infections and other such things. Im on a few yahoo groups that are specifically for FtM lower surgeries they have been invaluable ti me but thanx for the opportunity to look at your group. Ill keep you informed of how I go.:-)
