Hi all I haven't stared a thread in awhile so here's an update.

Last week tuesday I started hrt, been living 99% full time since last yr, amd just waiting for things to fall into place at work to where I can be 100%.

Ok that out of the way, albeit a small dose of spiro and estridol daily I have started to notice the beginnings of joint pain, slight aches in my jaw area, and just general achey/rundown feeling. I am curious if anyone else has noticed anything similar.

I am a pipefitter by trade and have been consistant in work load only started to notice symptoms Saturday of this past weekend, five days from starting hrt.

Thanks in advance, Jennifer

The only significant pains I noticed, other than nipple soreness, after starting HRT was skin sensitivity. When I was putting lotion on my legs rubbing the lotion in my skin kinda hurt. I use to get headaches fairly often But I have only had one where I felt the need to take Ibuprofen (half the dose I would normally take) since starting HRT. I thought that was perhaps just a coincidence but when I told my Psychiatrist about it he said it made sense because estrogen is "fairly protective". Not exactly sure what he meant by that but I like the sound of it. I have read that estrogen or was it progesterone can't remember is a mild anti inflammatory.

Hi,

THis will depend on age your less than 1 / 2 mine & yes you will get to understand meds effect us in different ways dose rate type , & your receptors how your body copes with meds your body is trying to eject . as we are all different we will have different things going on loose of strengh & mussle mass ,
Tho i dought youd see results that quick at a low dose more likely some thing else tho haveing said that are you on other meds . if so some will react with other meds , if thats the case check it out have you had your blood tests , as thats very important .
what else are you sure you dont have a cold type flu , virus type are you run down , & its just catching up with you, the new meds could have tho ??? that , changed some thing.

Do you know your T levels & the other resultes knowing your blood test resultes would give some good idear of whats going on. your hormones could be at odds as well. .with out more info its hard to know with out it.
