Just started a thread abount this very thing. See "A crossdressers worst enemy" and maybe a sister or two can help. Take your time, there's no rush. Get lots of info, there will be LOTS of questions (if not verbaly expressed then at least in their minds). Best to you

I've come out to two family members (other than the wife and children). Chat works best. That's how I came out with my oldest sister. I had a really hard time getting the words out when I told her son, my oldest nephew. Finally, he was like, "Are you trying to tell me you're gay?"
"NO! I'm a crossdresser..."
"Oh! Really!? Wow... okay... Next time you come to Jax, I'll have to take you to some of the gay bars so you can check out the drag shows."

I found the best way for me to come out to my father was to just man up and tell it to me straight, so I did, told him all about me and my needs, and that I knew it was something he would never be able to understand, he didn't say anything back to me of course, he had been dead a number of years before I got up the nerve to tell him, I'm still waiting to tell mom, but she doesn't seem to ready to hear it, she's 92 and still going strong, maybe someday.
