Is the second city to offer SRS as part of their health insurance package for workers. San Fransisco was the first of course.

Great, here city workers can't even get regular health insurance plus have to give up money per hour.

Sorry Celeste, out of my depth on that one over there, but over here on the NHS, I don't think it is available unless you pay for it!

Celeste, the state of Minnesota has it in their employee health insurance also. They covered all but $1100 of my GRS an BA.

Is that what your doctor told you, Anna? If it is, I suggest that you tell him to look again. The NHS won't pay for cosmetic surgery, but will pay for necessary procedures - which includes SRS/GRS. it is even possible (if you are so inclined) to start private and finish NHS, but I would rather do the whole thing onthe NHS even though it can be a bit slow.

Actually, I believe celeste is right. I heard on the radio that the city is currently in talks about making SRS a part of the health insurance package. It hasn't gone through yet, but it is supposedly in the works.
