View Full Version : To go without forms?

In my current situation, it's absolutly insane to get forms... plus, I don't really like the idea of some piece of plastic rubbing against my chest.
So, I was thinking of buying a small cup bra and just wearing that under my usual drag - B cup or C cup... But I am just wondering what experiences have been like of this? How natural does it look, and above all is it comfortable?
I'm yet to buy a bra or anything else breast related yet, so I was just looking for some advice on starting out; will just a bra be enough to look quite natural? I'm not trying to pass, this is currently just for me! :)
thanks in advance xx

There is no real requirements to do this except an imagination. There is a book out called the "Lazy Crossdresser" and in that book the author mentions that he doesn't wear forms either (good book to read by the way). So you're not alone in this.
For me the forms nearly diasppear and all I see is the shape that is changed and I like it.
To each his own.

Why is it insane? Also, who says it needs to be plastic?
A bra by itself won't look natural unless you've got something to fill them. I remember seeing a comment by a woman a number of years ago regarding a brand of pushup bra, saying it could make her little brother look like a rather busty model she named. The comment was not TG oriented, just an off-hand comment for a newspaper. I tried one! It didn't work. The B cups were still empty. I need something to fill them.
Now I make my own birdseed forms using nylon knee highs and birdseed (millet). While the topic's probably been covered many times on the forums, I'll describe what I do.
I clean the seed with some form of sifter, with the intent to remove the chaff. Then I pour one cup of clean seed into a knee high, tie it twice, and cut the excess nylon above the knot. I do the same with the other knee high. Voila, I now have a pair of breast forms for $5 (£2.50 or so?) that are about the right size, weight, and shape. They also move right when you walk.

Kimberly, it's purely a matter of personal preference. But the way I see it, having a bra without forms is like having a drivers license without a car.
The only thing better than a nice pair of forms is to grow your own. That's a real pleasure. I couldn't be happier :) Perhaps someday you'll feel the same way.
I'm betting that eventually you'll want to fill your cups with something, but for right now just do whatever is comfortable for you. And yes, the rice/birdseed method Stephanie suggested is a good start. So are simple foam inserts, and they're very inexpensive.

Hi Kimberly,
I wear bras almost all the time as a femininely dressed guy. My bras are of the microfiber type that stretch over my chest and just scoop what I've got into small bumps. This suits me well when I'm just a girly guy as I don't want it to look like I have breasts unless I'm fully dressed.
When I go out en femme though I have a shaped cup bra in a B size and I always wear forms with it. I think I get fairly realistic breasts from this.
I guess what I'm saying is that it all depends on what you are trying to achieve. Do you want to have the feminine curves of breasts under your sweaters? Or will you be just as happy being a rather flat chested woman? Either way, you shouldn't worry about "plastic boobs" because they don't feel like that (good ones don't anyway) they are soft and the really expensive ones mold somewhat to the shape of your chest as they warm up from the heat of your body.

The best part about dressing up is that you can do what-ever you want, so if you don't want artificial breasts, then go for it. I will say that silicone forms are very comfortable and natural looking, and I'm very happy with them.

I can't imagine anything more wonderful feeling than my silicone breasts. Why couldn't you put a cloth liner between them and your chest?

I have some silicon forms, which I wear when I need the bulk and weight. But most of the time I prefer to wear just a padded bra, with no filling. I find the "no-forms" option more comfortable and natural, and looks fine.

Living at home with parents... no money...
two good reasons? :p

Makes sense.
You know, the ones I mentioned are durable, comfortable, natural looking, and inexpensive. They are my form of choice. Sure, I'd love to spend 100x as much and get silicone forms, but I can buy lots of clothes, computer equipment, books, and coffee with all that other money. $5 for something that works well is just good economics, imho.
I've included a couple of pics I just took, one showing the relative size, and the other a closeup.
I can grok "no money", but this can help bring the cost to £2.50 or thereabout. If you can make them, you can certainly hide them.
Girl, you've got to make your money work for you.

I have a pair of the "chicken fillet" bust enhancers but they are way past their prime(read: worn out). I have some pretty nice natural breasts though and nicely fill out most of my 38C bras without anything else in them. A few of them have too deep of a cup though and could use some help. I just hate those little "folds" in the material! I do love to wear bras and I find them to be the most feminine of all garments. I just love how they feel on me and how they mold me into a nice womanly shape. If you can't fill out a bra naturally, then by all means get some forms. They will warm to your body temp and nothing really beats feeling that "jiggle" when you walk! Olivia
