I read Playboy for the Articles

Hope I posted this in the right place.

The July 2011 issue of Playboy Magazine published (page 131) an excellent article on the fight for rights of Transgender people.

I have been unable to find a link to the article as of yet. And I felt I should not post any of the article here because of copyright infringement. Maybe if someone on the forum knows anyone at Playboy, they might lets us post the article in its entirety.

It is definitely worth reading.

There is also an companion article about a women who had to lie to the hospital about her dying partner of over thirty years, saying they were sisters so she could be with her.

Freaking horrible. to have to live like this.

I use to also buy Playboy to read the articles, well that is what I use to tell everyone else anyway. :heehee: But
the truth is I was in envy of all those beautiful female bodies & wishing I could have had a body like those girls.

Anyway, it's always good to see transgender/transsexual related stories now coming out in the mainstream media & apparently

Playboy isn't porn. It does contain a few great photos of beautiful women who happen to be nude. It contains real journalism, interviews with newsmakers, and intelligent fiction. It also has great dirty jokes (snicker). There are at least three print articles for every pictoral set. They have always been advocates of GLBT rights. I have a subscription to the ipad site and can browse the entire catalog, every issue. I was reading a story last week they wrote about how gays should be allowed in the military from the early 70s.

Only nutty christians (and those who are swayed by their propaganda) fail to notice the genius of Playboy magazine.

Articles are mostly what Playboy has. Actually they aren't really that bad, and some of jokes are hilarious. But that is pretty cool that such a mainstream magazine is making a call for our rights.

The little boy was sitting with a Playboy Magazine and and older Lady looked at him and said "son arent you to young to be reading Playboy" The little boy looked back at the older Lady and said " Oh yes Ma'm but dont worry I am just looking at the pictures"
