I've read about several of my sisters (and brothers) as they anticipated their srs dates. I know that the preparation takes years but I wondered who is the closest for their surgery. Tell us when your surgery is scheduled or when you are planning to have it done. Then we'll get excited with you. Leanne

If I could get the funds I could push mine through this year around August/September, but because funds
are my biggest limiting factor right now (not unless I robbed a bank of course) :heehee: Anyway more realistically
speaking since I can't see how I can come up with that sort of funding this year because I am not working
right now & won't be able to for a little while longer yet due to all the cosmetic laser treatments, doctor &
psychologist appointments etc, I am having to go through right now. I do get a bit of paid part-time work
with my photography, graphic arts & web development work but it would be easier if I could to get a couple
of big web development contracts like I had a few years ago & I would be set up with funds in no time at all,
but right now I am not in a position to be able to be able to push it right now & take on too much work.

So my plan is now a more realistic & more workable goal of finding a job by August/September 2011 when all
my appointments start to settle down a bit & I don't have so many to attend. Then I plan on finding as much
work as I can & working & saving my butt off for the next year to go to Thailand to have my SRS with Dr Suporn
in August/September 2012.

Good luck ladies. When you return to the states you will be entering another chapter in your life. I hope the seas will be calm after you return and that your lives will be everything you always dreamed of.
