This past couple months has been so wonderful and the healing process has gone well. I was able to get to the Be-All conference and this past weekend to the Senior Olympics supporting a friend's efforts in the games. In beteen that I was visiting friends and co-workers off and on.

Yesterday I visited my GP for a return to work physical and yep he said I was fine for work at a limited level. Being my work in building repair is a physically demanding work at times there was a decision to let me come back with restrictions.

Now another four weeks would have been nice but I kind of miss the hustle of work and the students, summer school. I also have to get prepared for the Minnesota Vikings training camp again this year. If I retire next spring I can enjoy the finer side of life, golf, putzing in the shop, travel and what ever trouble I can get into. LOL

All said a couple friends said they could not believe the further transformation since surgery. One of the GFs said I had full transitioned long before surgery but the obvious changes were astonishing. So with all the support you all have given here online and Allie for her visit while I was in San Francisco I want to say thank yu again.

Take care with hugs and kisses. Teri Jean

Taco time!!! Ha. The funny thing is the recovery actually takes well over a year.........but you can get back to normal life fairly quickly. Just have to deal with the occasional electrical shocks, wierd sensations, minor discomfort, and other things for a while. Ohh and of course the daily stuffing.

Congratulations Teri from your temporary neighbor in Michigan, the true Land of the Lakes, for the 4th and a family reunion. I know you love your work and if you can truly follow the doctor's orders to control your urges and don't do any manly (don't you just hate that word?) physical activities, then you will successfully continue with your healing and recovery. Now, I do hope you can get into the wilderness at least once before you get your first frost before Labor day to fish, sit around the campfire and just talk and savor the moment.
