yard work and a bikini

Being summer in South Carolina and having to work out in the yard makes it for a very hot and humid day. My plan this morning was to get up and get in the pool but after I got dressed my roommate listed off the chores we had to get done. Not wanting to change and I have long given up caring what the neighbors think I took off my t-shirt and left my shorts on and went to work wearing my two piece bikini. Even though there is still so much to do today that and the 40% chance of rain today I wont be able to hit to pool but I did get almost 4 hours of sun while I got my work done. For thoese of you who have read the Sookie Stackhouse Novels ((The books True Blood is based on)) I got the idea of Doing yard work in my bikini and thankfully nothing prevented me enjoying my afternoon.

Yipeee! I'm not alone! I worked in the yard week before last in a bikini. It was great......until the next day when I noticed my great tan lines were more BURN than TAN!!! OUCH.

Yes, the tan lines are hard to explain in certain situations, and it takes a long time for them to go away. Many have had a pink cloud day only to have an oh crap next morning if they are not out.

I don't have that problem. its obvious in my day to day life that I wear women's clothes I just wear a T-shirt when I am at work. Accept for now when Im at the shop alone with no customers. Computer repair and my own shop on a "closed" day is nice too lol.

You, the computers and the walls must have some interesting conversations. That being said, enjoy your off time and soak up some rays, that tan needs some more work.
