I was able to get away on a little girl-cation earlier this week, I went to the Talbots store here in Natick Mass.

I was shopping for a formal dress to wear and I told the SA I needed a dress for a wedding. She was about 40, very classy and so helpful.

After about a hour of trying on dresses and girl talk, I mentioned I was transgendered, I said , "It's difficult to find clothes that fit right when you're transgendered"

This open the door for a conversation about being being transgendered.

I think she knew after while that I was trans but once I brought it up she ask me first how I liked being a women?

This floored me because she was recognizing me as a woman, a transgendered woman but still a woman Wow!!!!!!!!

I can still hear those words How do YOU like being a woman?

I told here "I couldn't imagine life any other way"

I basically shared my journey from childhood to now with her, and she had a ton of questions, she said knew a boy in college who admitted to her that he wanted to be a girl.

The picture below is in the dressing room and is lousy but I wanted to share this whole episode with you all.

Very pretty dress! :)

I've got to say ... for most people who are uninitiated to the world of CDers, if it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, then it must be a duck.

Seriously, this is the issue than many married CDers have a hard time with ... their wives believing they are women or they want to be women just because they wear a dress, and it can take a lot of convincing before the wife will believe otherwise and then relax about it. So, I'm not surprised that the SA assumed you want to be a woman, if she sees you dressed like one and shopping for women's clothes. :)

I'm glad you had a good time!

I have a lot of respect for Reine's comment! Can't add much to it except; if it looks like a women! And it does indeed! Hugs!
