What's the best way....?

To come out as a CD. Been doing it for 5 years now and maybe a select 3 or 4 of my girl-friends know it, but not to the extent of how serious I take it...It would just be nice to be out in public about it, just so there's no more weight on my shoulder. thanks for any advice!

I have never come out to another guy, not even (especially even) family. I have come out to 3 women, none of whom are in my life any longer, as we just went our separate ways. They weren't girlfriends, but I adored each of them and would have loved to have been closer than "just friends". The first, I came out when detailing the reasons for my divorce. The second, I showed a picture of me en femme and said it was my sister. "Really?". "No, it's me". Her jaw dropped. The third was immediately after she confided im that she (married) had an affair. Mutually kept secrets. All 3 seemed to be accepting, curious, and non-judgemental.

There is no best way, imho. Each persons situation is different. Family's are different. Friends are different. Chances are good that any way you go about it you will loose friends and some family members may never talk to you again. Depending on which family members that's not all bad! Lol.
