I use Tom's of Maine all natural Lavender deodorant no mater what clothes I wear. And a nice smelling bath powder.. Personally I have had issues with the amount of aluminum and magnesium if anti-persterants (male or female) and Tom's just works good and smells pretty.

I personally use Suave Lavender Lilac, but I didn't see on the label only for women. Yet I do not wear perfume out at all.

Secret says their deodorant is strong enough for a man but is made for a woman. I bought some Secret Scent Expressions Gel (Lavender) and I have never used an antiperspirant that keep me as dry as Secret. I find the scent is rather laid-back and it fades rather quickly.

Same as Karren, Tom's, I don't use antiperspirants because off health warnings, but Tom's works great, and the lavender smells great. I have used perfume a time or two when in drab, but never felt really comfortable wearing it that way.

Secret. Strong enough for a man. Made for a woman, but perfect for the rest of us! :heehee:

I wear CK One again perfect for anyone.

Why do I do all of this? Chemical cross dressing? Nope... I like the scent and the feel nothing more nothing less.

Karren and Tina I may have to find some Tom's and give it a try. No higher recommendation than from you two gals.

I've been using Secret for 4 years or so. I like the smell. I don't normally wear mens or womens perfumes although I do have a men's that is very soft that I like and it fits my engineer personality. It's called PI.

I have never worn deodorant in my life. I used to be a big tennis player and perspired like a faucet...but my sweat does not have any odor...weird eh? I do not wear any perfume/cologne either...probably just a safety strategy left over from when I was a responsible corporate clone. Kind of a no-no in that world.

I smell like peppermint (Dr.Bronner's) or vanilla. (Vanilla is one of those psychologically "safe" scents. Most like the smell because it connects with scent of mother's milk when we were nursing as a baby) ...guess I did not need to add that part, eh? :heehee:

I don't find that what deodorant I wear makes much difference, but I do often wear a slight amount of perfume almost all the time, with no negative comments and lots of positive ones from other woman.

My wife and I both use Burt bees deodorant which is all natural. I am allergic to commercial deodorants and antipursperants. I also now only sweat under one arm at any given time and the rest of me is dry, until I get really good and hot.

I used only Secret, powder fresh. For scent I use a knockoff of CK 1, as well as other not-too-flowery scents I fund on sale. Right now it's something called Sunflowers.

I have been using the SOs brand for quite some time. To keep her's from being used up to fast or not puttin' back in the right spot where she left it, I've bought a few backups for me only. Wearing her brand has several advantages. She can't smell it. You know that when you have a certain scent on for a while your nose forgets it. Also, if she ever finds my AP she'll think it's just something that she forgot, or I'll say that I bought a few extra in case you run out.....

I've givin up on the mennen but keep a few in the bathroom for appearances...

About the only fem item I wear in male mode is women's deodorant. It actually works than male deodorant. To use a quote it truly is "strong enough for a man."

I have been wearing my wife's deodorant for years. No one has ever said anything to me not even my step daughters and they notice every little detail of what I am doing. It's Secret Baby Powder scent and I just love it.

A majority of responses have mentioned wearing Secret brand deodorant. My favorite scent which has become almost impossible to find in the last few years is the soft solid optimism. I wear whatever the current scent of Secret I happen to have whatever I'm wearing and have occasionally worn vanilla fields perfume with my former military uniform.

Many ladies deodorants were not effective on me. Secret is the first I tried which works. At first I used it only on girly occasions. As I began bending into one gender, my other deodorant was quick to go.

I always use an "invisible" deodorant. The type that doesn't leave marks on clothes. Not only is it convenient to only use the one so that I don't have to wash off a male deodorant before dressing en femme, but it means that I don't mark clothes if I try something on in an op shop in boy mode.

It has some smell, but it's fairly subtle. Nobody has ever commented about it to me, but then again very few people comment about my long painted nails, pierced ears, long hair with fringe or my lack of body or facial hair either. :)

I don't use male deodorant any more. I, like many of you, it seems decided there was irony or a challenge to be had with Secret's claim. I love it more than any other antiperspirant I have ever used. The scent lasts all day, regardless of how hard I play, and I am almost always dry in my underarms. I've had lavender for a while, and also some berry scent (don't remember the name). Now, I am trying a tropical - for summer of course. I used it when dressed in guy clothing or girl clothing... and either way, I no one says.. is that Secret? lol.

I've never tried female perfume - i would love too, but many are just too expensive. However, I do use feminine lotions and washes.

I was considering wearing women's deodorant all the time before this thread. After reading it, I definitely am going to. Especially after reading how dry it can keep people. One of my medicines increases sweating so more protection is always better. In addition, I'd rather have a nicer scent versus men's deodorants that are usually named after vague concepts that I have little interest in.

Don't know if this counts? I have used secret unscented for years. My father in law gave us a bunch of samples so when my male suply expired I just started to use Secret. I didn't realize the irratation the men's stuff was cuasing until it went away. About tens years ago I read an article about odd things celebs do and there was a famous NBA player who wore scented Secret ..."cause he liked the scent."

I use Degree sheer powder daily and was surprised to find that it works better than my old male deodorant. I wear perfume, Red Door, very often but not quite daily.

I shave my armpits so it would be appropriate to use women's deodorant. To tell the truth I have almost never used a man's deodorant. My dad introduced me to Ban roll-on when I was young. I use Secret antiperspirant since it is cheap and effective.

I use different scents of Secret or Suave for deodorant, and routinely wear some Estee Lauder Youth Dew.
No adverse comments, but have had a GG ask if I was wearing Youth Dew. I also like Estee's Sensuous, it's a little more subtle.

Like many of the other responders, I only use Secret. Next time you are in the store, compare Secret with any of the "men's " brands. You will find that the active
ingredient is the same in all of them and in fact, Secret has about 1-2% more of it than any of the manly brands !!! So , not only does it have a nice clean smell, it
actually provides more protection !!!

Yes, I've used Secret deodorant for years. Works better than any others for me. I like the fresh scent, or the Lavender sent. My wife recently started buying Olay body wash as well. It too has a Lavender scent. That's my preference and she commented that she likes the smell. Glad she likes it, because that's what I like to use.

I would much prefer a women's deodorant but find that most women's options are actually an antiperspirant instead which are advised against for health reasons. It sounds like Tom's of Maine might be a great option. I love that they offer it in lavender.

I use Sanex deodorant it is made for women but works great I am allergic to some of the ingredients in mens deodorants so have been using it for years and it has a nice androgynous smell. The perfume I use is Blue Grass by Elizabeth Arden and even in l'homme mode I get compliments of "ooh you smell nice" so I must be doing something right !!

I was using sweet scented body spray in the evenings when away from home, but men's deodourant during the day. Until I read this thread! So I bought a little Palmolive Soft & Gentle Lavender and Patchouli deodourant from Tesco's, and it's gorgeous. I've come away this week without any male deodourant at all, and I smell lovely all day :-)

Tom's of Maine is great but most of the time I can get away without deodorant. Never use Antiperspirant due to the chemicals - besides your body was meant to sweat by design. However MY favorite for daily scent in guy mode is Jason Natural Satin shower wash in any of my 3 favorites: Tea Tree, Chamomile and Lavender. Worth the extra expense. Smells SO good when you get out of the shower. Not sure they smell totally girlie on me as no one has ever commented.

I have the secret lavender and another one (mainstream brand, can't think of it now though) that claims to slow hair regrowth. It's a nice scent but not too overbearing and it also fades relatively quickly. As to the hair regrowth, I think it does work somewhat - doesn't make shaving unnecessary of course, but I find i only need to do it once every other week or so. I don't wear male deodorant at all anymore on regular days, but I do have a travel stick of some men's brand for when I have to travel for work.
