I don't shave my legs and chest often but I have in the past. I usually have a month window when my wife goes home to visit family so i can shave and let it grow mostly back before she returns. It looks great for a few days but then I get red bumps and ingrown hairs that look terrible. I am out to my wife now and wrestling with the idea of shaving more permanently. I am worried about the time and effort of shaving regularly and also do the bumps and ingrown hairs ever stop or are they a temporary thing in the beginning?

Thanks,
Mercterr

The research I had done says to exfoliate to reduce ingrown hairs, it does seem to help.

As far as long term, I hope it gets better.
