Went out with my new cami tank top, womans shorts, painted nails and toenails, hoop earings, lipstick. Bought gas and even had to go inside to pay. Got real nervous when a man asked if I had some change. Went to the outlets to shop but chickened out. This was the first time that kathy has seen the daylight. One small step for this woman.

Hi Kathy!

That is so great! You must have been scared to death at the same time as being over joyed with being all pretty. Why to go girl friend you rock!

The more you go out the 'easier' it becomes! However, for me, it still retains all of the thrill! Have fun!

Way to go Kathy! Now that the first time is out of the way, get out to that mall and enjoy being you! Hugs!

Well done Kathy! Going out in the daylight is so much safer than doing it at night, and more of a thrill too. I know how hard your heart must have been beating paying for the fuel! It does get easier the more you do it. I've driven to places and then chickened out too, a lot. I still do it - I've wasted so much time over the years, sitting in the car, but these days it happens less often and I'm more likely to go into places after just a really short wait. It all takes time but there's no rush, and there's a lot of fun ahead!

I know the feeling -- as we all do but in the end and looking back the only thing that I regret is choosing not getting out of the car, or the door - the closet or whatever, if that's what you want - and passing up an oppertunity to express my femm side -- keep on getting out and have fun ............Debra

Great job Kathy!

My fiance and I went out to eat the other day and I was little nervous but I did it and J even ordered my own food...wish I could tone down the man voice.

Thank you all. Yes I could hear my heart pumping. More scared when the man asked me for change to help him out. The next time will be easier.
