Southern Comfort

I just registered for Southern Comfort. I am really impressed with the breadth and depth of the transition-related seminars. I wont be able to get to half of the ones i want to due to overlap. This couldn't come at a better time for me. Will any of you be attending?

Been there two times. It is without a doubt entertaining. I love going and sitting in the lobby and just watching people. Also it is interesting to watch how the people (mostly CDs) hook up with each other and go up the the hotel rooms. Like I said it is truely like going to the circus but as an adult.

I went in 2009. Was great to meet so many members here. But to be honest I met up with a full time, low key trans friend, and we ditched most of the conference to enjoy Atlanta. Seeing how effortlessly she lived her life, helped me go full time. We've lost touch sadly, but in that indirect way the conference helped me a lot.

If I decide to go it will be on a whim. I really have no reason to go except for the entertainmant value. What is cool about SCC is that you can pay 100 dollars and do everything but attend the meals. Thats what I do. The mall across the street has all the food one could ever want.

a couple of the girls I know who have been say that one should plan on spending about $700 when all is said and done. That is but one story.

Me, I would like to go, I am going to have to see what the costs are though for real and all that.

You sat with my wife and I and we chatted about many things and it was so pleasurable to actually meet you after all that I have read about you and of your trials and tribulations and of your struggles, and of your triumphs.
