For the most part society expects women to be perky and pleasant. Since we strive to emulate them how is your outward demeanor when interacting with others? Perky and pleasant, dull and grouchy or somewhere in between? How do you think an observer would rate your behavior in this regard? :)

Yes, I tend towards the "perky", that light feminine demeanor...... though it can be a little too "young"... older women
move into a chatty. emotion-full and heartfelt way about them......

Really? Must be tons of people disappointed in the reality of women then.

Not at all. I am a typically reticent Scandinavian. I am generally pretty good with people, and yet tend to be reserved in social settings.

So far I think "perky and pleasant" is a good description of Tina's outlook. Let's face it, transforming to Tina is just terrific! She always leaves the bathroom (having just finished everything off with a lip gloss) in terrific spirits and a bounce in her step. That's one of the advantages of living in both genders: you get to revisit both genders and enjoy the process of becoming feminine or masculine.

There is one other thing that is an advantage for Tina. She doesn't have to put up with the general worries of life, at least yet. It's certainly possible that if she had a larger fraction of our life that she would not be able to be permenantly perky.

The SA at Dress Barn called my boobs perky. Other than that I am highly excitable.

Soon as I saw the Title, I knew what was coming... LOL, I am "Perky" when dressed, now is that because I am trying to be more feminine, and as you say, women generally have better attitudes than men (just my opinion), or, is it because I am just doing what I want to do?

Given that I'm much happier when en femme, and after so many outings I'm very comfortable being out en femme, I am certainly a lot more perky and pleasant in girl mode than I am in boy mode. I still have good and bad moods, as do GGs. I think that I tend towards a reasonable approximation of how a happy GG is. :)

I think that I am like Karren!! My breasts are perky, but being 79 y/o kind of takes the perkiness off the rest of me!! But I am not grouchy!!

Refer to the subtitle over my avatar. :P

Actually it depends on how a personally initially interacts with me. If someone is nice or neutral with me, I start off quite perky. But, if someone approaches in a negative or insulting manner, I will switch to dead neutral. If they continue to be jack asses, then I will give perky a shot. If the jerkiness continues, then I will just shut the person off, or I will address them not so kindly.

My usual demeanor however is more neutral than I would like. I take life way too seriously at times, and there are times I want to just be the perky goofy person I was what seems a decade ago....oh wait, that was a decade ago. LOL.

Perky would be good. I'm getting to the age where I'm afraid I'll be called spry.

I am much more "perky" and friendly when en femme than when I am not.

I am perky (alive, happy, positive, fun, almost always in a great mood) in male and female modes. I have learned to love life and recognize that I just may not wake up tomorrow morning.

No! I'm not A Character in a Warner Brothers Cartoon! I don't stutter, and I'm not pink and plump!

Oh wait....you wrote "Perky." I thought you meant Porkie! Nevermind.....

I believe my observer would choose "quirky" and pleasant. :heehee:
Most would probably use more psychiatric stability descriptors...

I am a positive energetic person by nature. I am one of those annoying morning people who wakes up..."charged up". I get along well with just about anybody but axe murderers. :heehee:

I am rarely, if ever "grouchy" and I seriously doubt that anybody would ever describe me as "dull". As a matter of fact, one of my typical expressions is "never a dull moment at my house".

I am very perky and bubbly as a girl!

As a boy I am clever and fast and sarcastic and dark and evil and a bit of a daydreamer.

If society expects women to be perky (pleasant is nice to have from everyone) then I abdicate my position in society. I am pleasant and hopefully kind and supportive to others. Hardly perky tho and I don't know that I want to be.

How would an observer would rate my behavior in this regard? I would think that they would probably describe my girl personality as happy but quite quiet. I don't know if I would describe myself as "perky" but I am certainly not dull, miserable or grouchy when en femme, quite the opposite actually. :)

Sultry and Sexy is not Perky. Was Lauren Bacall "perky" in The Big Sleep, Key Largo or To Have and Have Not? Not that I will ever project like her, but my ambition is to get as close as possible.

I would not go as far as being perky but I am more outgoing and just happy once the transformation takes place.
