Yesterday, a friend had a Mary Kay party. My wife attended. After what seemed like 5 hours I got a call from her. She wanted me to join. Stupified, I asked more into it and she blurted out that if I worked for Mary Kay and can give her free makeup, I can wear makeup and the whole nine yards. I asked if she would help me to perfect the art of putting makeup on and she said, "YES". I was really blown away! To be clear I asked again if I can wear a wig, etc.. Again, confirmed yes. I was like okay I'm going to look into it. I'm like really excited now and have thoughts of joining Mary Kay. They have a mens line but I want the womens line :battingeyelashes:

There are a few Mary Kay reps who are men, so its not too far out of the question.

My SO told me that men are also representatives also and encouraged me to join. I'm out of work so I'm thinking, why not. Another case in point to my advantage is that I know more ladies than I do men. My facebook friends list has an astonishing high ratio of women to men and that's what my SO pointed out. She said since you know more women than men, chances are high you will make a killing. Lol.

I think that's great. And think of it this way, If you can show women what the makeup can do for a man (you) they can only imagine how well it will work for a woman. I wish you well in your venture.

Sounds like fun. If you get into the business in LA you probably have a hundred customers right on this forum! :)

Me, too! Gigi, what a dream come true. That is one of the three (3) last things I'm also working on with my SO, as we speak; that, the wig and heels.

Do you know how much it costs to do make-overs at GB2 here in Vegas? $50-75(US) - shoulder up only. What does such a thing cost with MK? Do they even do men?

I might even have to volunteer as a guinea pig; that is, if I could even get my SO to attend one? Wow! What an inspiration...

Go for it and keep us posted, this is great.

Every relationship is based on give & take. In this case, you both get something you want! Your wife is great!
