A new turn in my life

My life took a crazy 180 degree turn today. Thought it was going all fine and dandy, then some things happened that almost tore my heart out and made me question existence its self. But thankfully, I worked through it. It got me thinking though. I need something to live my life by. I was playing Portal 2 btw. Then I heard the best thing ever.



"All right, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back. GET MAD! I DON'T WANT YOUR DAMN LEMONS! WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THESE?! DEMAND TO SEE LIFE'S MANAGER! Make life RUE the day it thought it could give CAVE JOHNSON LEMONS! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?! I'M THE MAN WHO'S GONNA BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN! WITH THE LEMONS! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that's gonna BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN!"

And then GLaDOS inciting the mob while all that is going:
"Yeah! YEAH! BURNING PEOPLE! HE SAYS WHAT WE'RE ALL THINKING!"



So that's what I'm going to live my life by from now on. Screw life, I'll have fun and enjoy myself, even if it kills me.






BTW, is it obvious having a new guy in my life that's soooooooo hunky is helping my attitude? :D

Sorry to hear something got you down like that, but glad you were able to get through it. I think you're getting the right attitude. I'm trying to be more like that too. I mean, that's kind of how we got this far right? I DON'T WANT YOUR DAMN LEMONS!

Andy, I'm sorry something happened to make you question your existance. Life hands us many thing during our time here. Sometimes lemons are the best we get. Lemons are not bad in and of themselves... they give us the ever-popular lemonade AND lemon drops, lemon merangiue pie, lemon Pledge, lemon chicken, and so on. Most ladies I know wouldn't threaten to burn someone's house to the ground simply because they were given something they didn't care for. Most ladies I know would offer life a plate of lemon cookies :bg:

I guess there's no reason not to tell why I posted that. Well, my 89 y/o grandmother is in the hospital in ICU after falling down about 20 something steps at a cabin in Gatlinburg. Then, my best friend Tiffanee got pissed at me and didn't wanna be my friend anymore. She's like a sister to me and I was tore all to hell over that. And then to top it all off, I knew last night that I'd have to put one of my dogs down. He was a 13 y/o beagle, and had fluid building in his lungs for a while now.
