Need video ideas....

I just started up a new youtube channel, TeaganTangent. I need ideas on things maybe other transgender folks may want to see.... Anyone got any ideas? It was kindof compulsory.

If you were the one going to youtube, what would you want to see concerning transgendered people? This is a good place to start. Maybe a video about Teagan's first trip out the front door. Maybe Teagan interacting with others on her daily adventures. The sky is the limit.

Well I don't want to build an ego, I don't really want to go viral, well at least that is not what I am setting out to do. I don't necessarily want to make a profit either. All I really want to do is help others and be entertaining. I really like the employment idea and it fits as I am looking for a job right now. But that would be a long term project. I am looking for something that I could do every wednesday outside or to supplement just a typical vlog. One thing that may help is I am in the process of moving into an all transgender house. It will be myself and 2 trans-men.

There you go. Film a few scenes with your new roomies and send it in to Discovery Channel or MTV and get your own reality show going. ;)

You could put a few ideas together, sort of like a newscast. Have a few minutes on each and request feedback on what people would like to see more of? I agree with Jorga just your mentioning of moving into the house with new roomies is a story in itself! But naturally you would have to get them to agree to it if you use them on the vBlog. Your job search is another, especially if you have to make a career change because of the transition. You could add pet of the week, a fashion tip of the week/month (might get some free stuff for promoting the products!) Right down to visiting the different support sites out there and giving them a rating or some of the people's updates...

Well I have a lot of ideas now. I plan on doing a moving video hopefully tomorrow and come to find out the house I am moving to is haunted. I have personally heard EVP that one of my friends has captured here in our basement, so I plan on doing a ghost hunter type video too. Also once I get my vanity set up I will be posting how I built it and what it cost me. So at least for now I have a few ideas. Thanks everyone!

Well, I am all set to post a video on wednesday September 21 2011. It will be on my channel as well as on my House channel which will be the home of my roommates' and I's show that we are working on. The show is called Trans House. Each show will have a theme, the first show's theme will be "normal." The idea of the show is to show people our lives as three of us in the house are transgender. The aim of the first episode is to show that we are normal people, not freaks or something scary. Extra footage will be also on the channel as well as daily occurrences in the house. I think it's a great idea, Teagan. And the promo is very cute. If your content proves interesting enough to a general audience--i.e, it's not too inside--Trans House could very well change a few minds. And of course it wouldn't be the end of the world if it just gave us TS peeps the warm and fuzzies.

Try to start out with a really strong first episode. Take the time to give it some structure. And remember, the sound quality is really important; if people can't figure out what's going on, they're not going to come back.
