From what I have searched there is no direct link to the two but that soon will no longer be the case, provided my Endocrinologist does a complete study.

I started HRT back in 12/23/2009 and after a couple of years of weight loss with the Alli pills and careful diet I lost 50 lbs. Just as I took the Alli pills while on HRT a negative reaction from those pills made me constipated and painfully so. After being cleaned out twice I stopped them. The HRT was and is more important to me.

I have multi level degenerative disk disease in the lower lumbar section with collapsed end plates, 2 arthritic kness and two torn rotator cuff, with depression is the main reason I am on SSDI. With limited ability to exercise I turned to cycling for the season of 2010. That winter season 2010-2011 from walking and average of 9 miles a day, two sessions, the holes in my spinal column where the nerves came out started to close and gave me xscrewciating pain. Now being heaverly medicated I can live a some what normal life.

March 2011 I took to cycling as my exercise routine in which with medication I was able to do and effectively well. I progressed so rapidly I out grew a beginner cycle and needed an upgrade to better challenge me. May 13 2011 my upgrade part 1 was finished and I took to the bike paths and then to the streets with hills. I challenged myself to the extreme where I started making Adrenaline on a regular basses. Going up some steep hills and challenging yourself to go faster each time you reach down within yourself and find the power source to complete the task at hand. I also would grind away going downhill to set new speed records for myself.

Making adrenaline is no big deal Except to those who take , in my case Spironolactone to suppress Testosterone. I would make on occasion adrenaline numerous times an hour and cycle more than 6 hours a day 5-6 days aweek. This constant use of a power source other than muscles makes your body want to repair itself as to not use so much adrenaline. It feals like some thing need to be repaired like a callus on the skin from constant use or abuse.

To over come this abuse I have put on my muscles my body makes extreme amounts of Testosterone to build muscles to be better prepaired for the next abuse/challenges. I take low doze of Spiro at my stage in transition and my body totally ignores this medication and more than doubled the Testosterone level I started with before HRT. 330 as a TS without medication to 636 on medication.

I brought this to the DR's attention but felt no difference in body change only a little aggressiveness and being more sexual. I wasnt specific enough my Psychotherapist said and made another appt to see my Endo dr as the next one wasnt untile nov. After explaining the mood changes in detail and the now new abbility to have erections, orgasim and ejeculation. I asked him , am I suppose to be able to have these and he said "No Your Not".

I explained to him about this new occurance of extreme exercising and the mood changes and he promtly doubled my Spiro and increased the Premarin. I revisted him a couple weeks later in early august 2011 and with the new numbers my T is down to 50 and Est is 113. I said these are exceptablt T levels buyt Estogen needs to be increased more to 200. My GID lady want the E to close to 200 as possible.
all said an done I'll wait untile nov and recheck the levels and he said that this is also happining to another patient of his, and is going to do a study on this mater.

I dont have his qualification yet an will work on the later if you like but he is in lead Endocrinologist in Boston Medical.
sorry I got russed a bit have to run and will answer any question.

If he does this study I will get no credit for bringing the new phenomenon to his attention. Last word. Adrenaline makes power to ur muscles, your dody makes Testosterone to make muscle because of constant abuse. thats the new link we might see in years to come.

I for only a couple of time have stumpted my Pyschotherapist over this one, she like to be imformed about health issues with her clients. After all you learn something for being in practice for over 30 yrs.
