Chantelle, I don't know if you're serious or not here but you may get more of a response by starting a webpage and having a paypal account. Don't know but just an idea. Hate to say it but as much as I'm not against charity, most folks want something for their money. You could ask for donations to help maintain your website.
just ideas

Could anyone enlighten me about electrolysis. How much does it cost for face, chest, neck etc ...? How painful is it? What are the side effects? How much can be done at one sitting? How much time between sittings? Etc ... Posting costs in Canada would be best for me.

This is way too funny.....
I'm thinking something like a thelethon with you as the poster child (well webathon).
You can have like a depressed look on your face and have someone represent you saying ("only you can put a smile back on her face")
I'll pay to see that.
I hear that Sally Struthers donates her time to a lot of causes you should
give her a call.

You know what we need? We need a SUGARDADDY! :D There must be one in this country of ours. Not sure if I can make it on my knees though, I would be worried that my pistol fell out. :p What? I live in one of the most dangerous cities in the world! A girl's protection here is not necessarily the same as she would need in the USA.
Maybe we can start a fund - support SA Girls! I'll bring the pom-poms! Ooh, what is it about chearleader uniforms!?
By the way, are you looking at electrolosis or laser? I see there is a clinic close to me that apparently has one of the better lasers, but they are expensive :(

JodiArtemisHi Hillary.
Be aware that prices may vary from place to place. Here in the Seattle area, I was paying about $40.00 / hr. It is pretty painful. Imagine getting lots of little electrical shocks / pin pricks in one spot, or try plucking one to see what it feels like. Side affects, are redness and possible scarring. I don't know exactly how many they can do in one sitting, depends on the person and how long you can sit still for it. Generally, you could probably do as many hours at a time as you can stand, until there's not enough left to do... Depending on how the person does it, you could probably go every day or two, also depending on how much there is to do... Generally, what they'll do is a thinning of an area, rather than a clear cutting. Clear cutting an area, although it would do just that, would leave an odd looking patch, could increase the chance of scarring, and be much more painful due to concentrating all of the work in one area.
Depending on just what kind of hair and where, there may be other methods to try. Most of the laser and other types depend on the darkness of the hair for effectivity. If you have very light colored hair like I do, electrolysis is the only way to go. Other methods may seem more expensive, and have questionable permanance, but may be worth a try. I'd recommend researching them. Be aware also, that electrolysis is the only proven permanent methos of hair removal.
BTW, don't waste any time or money on home kits...

Now if I could just get my medical insurance to cover it! ;)

Tell me about it... I've been fortunate myself, in not having to have all that much done. Excepting of course for the genital kind. I always say, you know someone is serious about a sex change, when they go in for genital electrolysis...
