Meeting other CDs

While I have no possibility of passing or coming out to my wife (and keeping my family intact), I do have a growing interest in meeting others who like me, love to explore and experience our femme sides. For those of you who were/are in a similar situation as I am and were able to make safe friends, how did you do it? I travel so was thinking it might be safe to stop in at LGBT establishment as my male self and see what it's like but really just seeking a shopping friend. Welcome your comments.

I have met several people in the broad spectrum of members (willing and unwilling) in the LGBT community. Some of my best friends have come from this site. Similar to your name, the majority are travelers for business and sometimes pleasure. My recommendation is to network with others before you travel and see if they would like to meet up. I don't meet up at someone's home or hotel, but rather for a day or evening (or both) out doing what I would do in guy mode. Just take your time, be proactive, apply your personal filters and enjoy. It has worked wonderfully for me. Good luck.
