I would say that, in addition to Reine's advice, that you remember how harmless what you're doing really is. The world will not stop if you set foot outside in what society deems clothes of the 'wrong' gender. Take a deep breath, take that first step, and then follow that step with one right after the other. The world will keep spinning, and life will go on.

You shouldn't have to rely on 'liquid courage' but instead rely on your own courage. Only then will you really have accomplished something.

I would have to say I agree with the many that say it contains "I don't care what they think I am going to be me." I think it might have a little confidence built in.
