I'm so excited! I finally bought a couple of proper wigs. For the last ten years I've been wearing cheap Halloween wigs that I purchased at Spencer's Gifts. Those served me well for a while, but lately I've been wanting something nicer. I ordered from Jenny's Hair Sense and I could not possibly be happier with the wigs (or the shipping/service). They are beautiful! And they feel sooo much nicer. So now with the new hair and some fledgling makeup skills, I feel presentable enough to post a picture of myself via my avatar. This in itself is a huge step forward for me. I am working hard on developing my look and in time, I look forward to sharing more pics with the community, but baby steps.
I'm so happy right now! I just felt like I needed to share. Me = :D:D:D:D
*edit* I just realized that I posted this in the wrong forum. My apologies to the mods. Please move this thread if necessary.

RachelRene,
WOW you look GREAT.
I am so impressed with your feminine look and smile.
If I looked that good I would go out more dressed.
I do love the hair also and your eye makeup . . . did you do it yourself?
Yes hair was a big thing for me ... i finally got mine on ebay.
I do not want to sound shallow like a guy but you have gotten me curious how the rest of you looks.
Well Welcome to the site and hope to see more of you here.

Thank you so much! I did do the makeup myself but I took me quite a few times to get the hang of it. I still a novice with anything more than lipstick. As for the rest of me, six feet tall and hairy ;)
Definitely looking forward to jeans weather so I can shave it all off for a few months.
I Love the outfit in your avatar, by the way.

well your makeup job is more than a novice...very nice.
Yes Jeans, you should get some gg jeans they are great I am not sure of your figure but for me they are great.
I am 6' ~160lbs darn, I want to get to 150lbs.
Also, may i suggest a boned corset (6" smaller than your natural waist). You can hide them well under and make you feel so curvy and nice.
It even changes my walk a little.
And yes,
THe cold weather is better for me to dress, I love the winter.

Wow, first try, you look like an ol pro at it, your make up is great, so many start out using it too generously, to much eye make up or to much blush, not you, you got it just right, and the wig looks good on you also.

Awesome Rachel. I have several wigs but at my age they are all more grey than any other color and of course do not hang straight down like yours.

Your Avatar is as cute as it can be. I find myself changing mine more often than I probably should but that is the fun of it to me.
You have a great look going.

Thanks, everybody! I got some more new things in today, including some more clothes, makeup, and some nail polish and remover. Unfortunately, the polish remover leaked out of the bottle and soaked the box. This prompted either UPS or the folks at package reception in my complex to open the package to see what it was. At least everything else was wrapped in plastic bags, so nothing was damaged. I'm just curious as to where along the line the package was opened. Oh, well.

That was close. That Acetone can ruin a lot of things. Don't worry about someone seeing what was in the package.
