Hormone thearopy doctor

I've seen this subject come up many times and thought I'd like to ask about where to find a doctor. Is there a guide available of recomended doctors who can or who work in this area? I would like to approach one but am not comfortable with the family doctor.

Since you have a computer, look up transgender health care centers or Transgender medical centers in your area.

First though, I recommend talking to a therapist to see what’s going on to make you take this step. No one just jumps into this.

Most of the doctors who work with the community, also require a letter of recommendation from a therapist, before they will commence a hormone regimen.:cool:

I've been seeing a thearpist for 4 month and am looking into the possiblities. I think your advice is right on. Any other thoughts? :confused:
