I've gone red in the past. My hair is a medium brown, but went dark red for around 2 years. It's a royal pain to do, coloring it after every haircut, but I always enjoyed the result. It's been a couple years since I've done it now.

I personlly have to use wigs but my wife [ must stop calling her that on the forum so she has agreed to me using her name anne marie ] gets me to tint, dye, highlight her hair, at the momment she is going for reds with coppertones and blonde streeks in it, It really suits her but it takes hours to do.

Hi Wendy,
I don't color my hair but I also do my wife's. She's naturally light brown but we've done her blonde for quite a while. She goes to the salon to have the streaks put in though, I'm not good at that.

I do color my hair and have been doing so off and on for many years, but have done so regularly for the past several years. I had always colored my hair pretty close to its original brown, but decided to go a little darker (almost black) a few months ago when I mistakingly bought the wrong color and decided that I like it. One of these days though, I might try a little auburn just for change's sake, but I'm a bit reluctant to take that step yet.

I'm naturally dark blonde and this spring my hair stylist persuaded me to get highlights done. Love it and have kept it up ever since.
I always thought my natural hair was a bit mousy, so the highlights give it a bit of life.

i happen to be very fortunate to have my own extremly long hair. well, passed my cheeks. always had long hair growing up and played in a touring metal band i n early- mid 90's.my sister being a top graduate at a local cosmetology school, i have an inside track. we both love the young bon jovi hair style. so she always hooks me up. although i rarely ever get it cut, once in a while she'll frost the ends a nice blond. my hair is generally a light brown.
im getting ready to have some wild off-red streaks put in. gotta find the right shade of red that i'm looking for.
