Hi
I have had the same problem from time to time.
I sloved the problem by sewing a hook and eye fastening into the belt.
So it fits better just like a bra.

The one I have a problem with is the back of the left leg just can't seem to get it to stay done up.
Try what i do clip the stockings to the belt first then pull them up and fasten the belt last it seems to do the trick for me.

For those clips that won't stay. I found if i use a pair of needle nose pliers, and pinch the clip a little, that the stockings and the clip stay on.

......the back of the left leg. I have always had problems with that.
Is it just a 'bloke thing', perhaps something with being right-handed, or perhaps more sinister with the male/female sides of the brain kicking in.

Do any GG's have problems with the back of the right leg ?

I think the real problem is the clips, particularly the smaller plastic ones. Some stockings have a thicker welt around the top, particularly the lace-top types, and won't easily stretch over the button. Then, unless it's carefully attached (difficult to do behind the legs) the clip just slides off when the tension is on. The bigger metal clips work much better, or stockings with a thinner welt.

I sound like an expert, don't I? But I'm very much a part time dresser really, but I love stockings and being an engineer helps in problem analysis!
