All these posts about being maam'd remind me about a cute interaction I had the first time I went to the the Rennasiance Faire. en femme

I was dressed in a Fair Maiden costume, with light makeup and a scarf covering my hair, and definitely didn't pass.

I purchaced a "steak on a stick" and the server (a young man) said "Enjoy, m'lady." So I did what any self-respecting lady would do, and I thanked him and curtseyed.

The title of your thread got me intrigued as I was thinking to myself "what could possibly be better than being mamm'd?" .. but yeah, I guess being called m'lady is pretty cool too :)
