Interesting Question: How Old are you ladies?

I've been here for a few weeks, posting occasionally while I'm at work. (I work midnight shifts four days a week, its nice to be able to post when its dead.) And I find myself noticing different styles of people here. Not so much personality wise, but experience wise. And I find myself wondering, just how old is everyone? Even if you aren't comfortable telling, which seems rather odd for men who wear dresses and talk openly about it, haha, just a ballpark number?

I'm almost twenty six, myself. Alot of the ladies who post here are at least ten years older than myself but just how young are some of the others here? Where are the younglings that crossdress? I'm sure obviously there are one or two out there but curiosity got the better of me tonight so I ask the question. :hugs:

Ley's just say I'm a little older than you and this forum you will come to learn if you spend regular time here which of course we all hope you do, is not all genetic males. I have come to find no matter what site/forum you go to, all of the sites tend to have older than you, gender enhanced people overall. Why? Probably because we have more time on our hands to sit about, more of us are out of the proverbial closet, and more of us have had more time(years) without the invention of the internet which in all fairness, has provided everyone for whatever reason, to be able to connect with others in like situations. I think however, you will find many young people here also. The easiest way to find them is simply just become a regular viewer and post either new posts or respond to existing posts. They will find you. I hope you have fun here and welcome.

From all my years of experience, the age distribution here is about average for the trans community in general (few younger folks, starts going up around 30/35 and peaks at about 60/65. I started going to trans community events when I was only 19, and I will tell you, there was no one close to my age around back then.

I recently turned 41. Alot of my friends seem shocked when I tell them. They usually guess I'm in my late 20's or early 30s. Maybe its cause I still act young??? I don't know but I'll thank my Mom and Dad for my youthful looks, they've always looked much younger than they are.

Imeni: The answer is that there are more CDs in their teens and twentys than in their 60s. Why? Because the number follows the age actuarial
tables, that is, follows the aging of the general population---no more no less. I will be 87 in May. Read more in the "Myths and Misconceptions"

The same question was posed a few weeks ago. I compiled the responses and found that the median age was 56, with fifties being the largest cohort, followed by sixties. Here's a couple of charts that illustrate the results. Keep in mind that the sample is only those who responded with actual ages, but it is pretty striking that so many of us end up here during our sixth or seventh decades.

Im in my late 40's been doing this since i was about 11 yrs .I was whatching what not to wear the sign said no mini skirts after 35 ?? .I say pfft if ya enjoy them like i do wear them ! age is only a number .You are young as you feel !
