I'm sorry that your feeling down. Are you sure that your parents would be upset if they knew? Maybe you could use anime as a cover? I thought that Asia in general is much more accepting of CDing & TS than the west. I've seen articles about men carrying purses in China, wearing skirts in Japan & Thailand seems to be very open to TS.

From the posts I've read, I didn't think that England was that accepting?

Interesting!!! You are almost duplicating a Scenario I watched in a Film last week. I think it's called "The Wedding Reception," and it's about people who are from Taiwan. I was surprised, as it was a very well done film, and didn't go for any heart-wrenching, or sappy endings.

Anyway, Our hero is gay, living with an Occidental as his partner in N.Y.C., and the parents are visiting from Taiwan. Because of "The Pressure," he convinces a girl he knows from The Mainland, seeking a Green Card, to become his fake fiancée' and go through a sham marriage and quicky divorce, just to please his Folks. Of course, lots of complications ensue, and it has a bit of a surprise ending. It appears to be a version of The Writer's "personal story," and you might just enjoy it.

Anyway, Families always Give...but, they also take away in equal proportions. It sucks hiding secrets, but Your not there, and you can live your life as you see fit. Ultimately, that's about as good as we can do!

Peace and Love, Joanie

Like everywhere else, thee are places very accepting and other that are not. I have friends 1.5 hours south of London that live in a very accepting city.

Didn't England recently pass or ammend a law that makes it easer to be a queen? :-)
