I posted this thread in this group for a very good reason. Please remember it is compassion that leads us not anger.
I watch The Gwen Araujo Story (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnzJwV2zvoA) today and cried like a baby for hours.
Maybe, just maybe if more of us stood up not for ourselves but the young girls and ladies growing up today and in the future, maybe there would be fewer murdered or ones that take their own life.
Sure, it's pretty much impossible, when we can't even agree on terms of who or what we are how could anyone even think we can change how people think about us. Yet, I think we owe it to the ones coming behind to try mitigate their pain.
