Hi Girls,
I know this will not be a very big deal to a lot of you but its another step forward for me. I am going for my first drive en fem tonight. Not anywhere in particular just going to drive around the area for an hour or so. Just need to get to my car without any nosy neighbours seeing me and Im sure it will be fine, just as long as I don't break down.
Have done all the usual checks ie water, oil, lights, tyres etc and all is fine so I should be ok.

Have fun with it, Gemma. My first outing included a drive, 11pm on a Saturday night; it's great fun, because you are almost anonymous, but at the same time part of the action. I hope you enjoy yourself.

Good luck Gemma, and have a nice drive!:yrtw:
One other thing to check off your list before leaving: Don't forget to take a set of your house keys with you, so you can let yourself back in when the drive is over.:)

Gemma hon, been there, doing that, get T-Shirt once or twice a week and MAN DO I KNOW WHAT IT MEANS...
So... best of luck, try not to be too nervous, it will draw more attention to you (which I know you already know).
I won't even start to tell you about me and cops, you know already.. just check you have no sticker on the back of the car and you will be fine.
Pity we wont get any pics though

Have fun with it Gemma.
If you can find a semi deserted safe place to pull over you might get out and take a short stroll. You will love it.

Gemma hae a great drive. One more tip... take a "boy bag" with you with a change of clothes and makeup remover, just in case something unforeseen happens.

Gemma, this is something that I would dearly love to do also, perhaps as a first step out. My problem is that there is a young man who lives with us at present, and although he spends quite a lot of time away from the house, he could come home at any time. I'd be afraid that upon my arrival home after such a drive, I could pull into the driveway only to find that I wasn't alone. Ouch! That would be a bad situation, especially if his girlfriend was with him.

Yes Gemma, have fun. Life is waaay to short not be getting out , and having experiences as a woman. I still remember my first time out like it was yesterday, and that was 16 years ago this month .

Enjoy the drive!
Hi Gemma,
Don't even think about breaking down, just enjoy every moment of your drive and as it's been said before if you get the chance have a stroll - you won't regret it. Have fun.

Wow, what a buzz that was. My drive went off without a hitch.
It was a great feeling to glance down every now and then and see my black tights and knee length denim skirt rather than my boring old work trousers and it was great to glance in the rear view mirror to see myself en fem. Never got chance to stop and have a stroll but I hope to in the future.
I was more nervous tonight than my debut last week, but again, in the end it was all so very easy.

Well done for your first drive, I did my second drive last week and loved it.
I am in boy mode when i go into the car, go to a very quiet b road (layby) pull in and change, now that can be fun.
Make up using just an interior light.
Don't think i make to bad a job of it.
Once again glad it went well and try and go for a short stroll, it does feel fantastic

I did my first drive...years ago. That's the way it started for me. Just a drive around town, then, I got brave!(or maybe stupid at the time. I'm not sure I was ready for it!) A drive... across country! Including, one gas stop, and two... "pit stops".
My last "fem-trip" was Labor Day weekend. I took a 'road trip' to go check my farm. 150 mile .. one way trip. Loved it!
Each step, just seems to be another step, in my tg life, that I want so much.
Go for it girl! Enjoy!

WTG girl.. tip 4 u if I may... next time.. set off to go somewhere.. a set place, at least 10 miles away.. and pick something to do.. ie get out the car.. tell you how silly mine was.... get out the car and place something out of the car in a bin.... sounds daft but I almost bottled it. If you past that, then pick something a little more daring. Remember I was at where you are only a few months ago and all that has changed is that I have now been out 2 dozen times... I still shake with fear.
Again.. WTG.. good on ya.. hope to chat on MSN when you have time
