In Drab for awhile but it's ok

My wife and I shared a wonderful weekend out of town several weeks ago. We shopped for each other and I was able to dress for an evening. So since she has indulged me, I'm being her man for the holidays. I'm letting my goatee grow out (i hate it, she loves it) and won't be dressing until after the New Year. I think it's important to make sure we are meeting the needs of our SO's - especially when they are supportive of our needs.

How do you support your SO and maintain a balanced relationship?
