first of all let me wish all of us here a happy thanksgiving to all. some of the members were a big help in my journey as Cassandra. it's been wonderful knowing that i am not alone in my journey and that there's a lot of successful people like myself that make a conscious choice in gender identity.

i had an unexpected day off this year, so i am in the middle of a five day weekend. in years gone by my SO and i would visit friends and spend thanksgiving with them. this year we decided to make a small dinner at home. i also had wednesday off.

after we came home from shopping on wednesday, i wore a skirt, top and tights. i also did my mani/pedi at home and painted my nails a very nice red

thursday i wore yoga pants, a knit top and flip flops till about 4 and then i dressed in a new skirt i got from Kohl's along with a white top for Thanksgiving dinner. we had a very nice time.

today is still open. we have a few errands to run while i still have red fingernails. this will be interesting, but i am planning on wearing a dress when i get home.

oh by the way. in no way is Kohl's a part of our errands today. even though i say some things i would like, i have way too many clothes anyway. i am thankful for that and thankful for an SO that i can be "girlfriends" with.

last year was a little different. i got my first wig last october and started working with makeup. black friday came and i had a shopping list for kohl's. my SO and i went there. it was the start of me buying clothes that i actually liked and that looked good on me. before that, i would buy stuff on clearance from wally world or wherever and pretty much because it was cheap. don't get me wrong i still buy stuff on clearance, but only if it looks good and it's something i can wear.

Nice story Cassandra! I'm glad you have some time to relax and be yourself! And being able to share it with your wife is simply awesome! I had a great thanksgiving also! We at the club were able to share ours with about 50 others that aren't so fortenute! Hugs!
